Agreed. Got an order from Amazon for $20 block. Gonna do this balls out. I've also never forced a plant to produce like this. This is totally different than any grow I've even done. Don't tell Aquaman I've got a water pump and an air pump on order and thinking of trying hydroponics. Just between you and me.

Haha lucky you. I'm Canadian. We have guns too, but they know exactly what ones we have, they'd just bring better and more guns lol.

I do want to try my hardest to keep my grow legal. I'll just have to find a way to make 4 plants perpetual.

Always thought the number was kinda weird. Why not limit it to square footage or weight? I can't grow 20 solo cups as a sea of green, but I can grow one massive plant that yields over a pound and still be allowed to have 3 more...

Oh, Oklahoma hasn’t cornered the market on clay and gophers quite yet. Northern California has its share.

I had to dig deep In my gorilla days and after a foot or so always hit clay, was always a problem to get round because of water retention.
At first I thought dig deep, and you have to dig wide then
to get deeper. Then find too much water and ending up on a rece for stone for drainage and digging wider lol. I miss it though but getting long in tooth without some tweaking.

The cops won't do anything. They could care less about me. I can legally have 6 or I can designate my wife as care giver and have 18, as long as I pay the state more $. Screw 'em. At worst it's a ticket but I'm not producing hundreds nor do I sell anything so I'm not even on their radar. And I have a local cop as a plumbing client, he works on the gang problem. Trust me, no one cares what I'm doing and I have no worries that will ever change, unless I catch a thief and shoot him. But then I do have a half acre and a shovel.

Had some friends over yesterday and smoked a couple tri-tips.

And made 10+ pounds of salsa.

5lbs was for the gang at our local irrigation shop.

Filled a bucket with tomatoes

which is still half full. Time to make marinara!

A little bud porn.

Put some basil in the herb garden.

Long day. Booked through Thursday. Gonna be a hard week. I'd rather stay home and play in the garden. Gotta play the lotto.

For a 2 month old plant when it started to flower I've got no complaints other than having to wait for 12 weeks to chop and it needed every one of those days. I could have let it go another week but I don't think it would have made much of a difference. 2 weeks to taste. Can't wait!

Funny you should mention that. I just took a couple hits of sugar leaves of the branches I took a week ago. Hard hitter, both head and body high. Taste is of course wanting but the high is good. Really good and continues to grow. Very happy with the sugar leaves and time to make some tincture. Gonna be a good year!

Damn, it gets so hot and dry here I'm watering every day, twice today. That clay/rock crap, hard for water to penetrate, easy to over water is a bear. This fall I need to dig those plots larger, and maybe re-line with chicken wire? I'll fill 'em with fresh horse and chicken manure. Wanna do some light bondage on a row of 5 come spring. Sea of green. Sounds kinky.

Oh man I'm jealous! I don't think we're going to get any Tomatoes here ?? not only have I no red tomatoes yet, the latest I can ever remember but nothings even looking remotely like it's going to start ripening because of this cold and rainy spring here in the Northeast.

I didn't put my storm windows up except for a few I open for the cat earlier, until July 1st this year! I can never remember that happening ever here? It's usually nice here by April

Cold and rainy springs and fall for quite a few years now, wreaking havoc on the outdoor growers in this area too, particularly the wet falls :/

This has been a year to forget weather wise. We had crap weather here until July. Very unusual but with sun and heat the past month everything is growing like weeds. Cherry tomatoes are starting to ripen and my Mortage Lifters (2lb fruit) have a few green tomatoes. Never grown them that large before.

Those celebrities, only 2 plants have produced over 20lbs so far. Purchased and put in the ground back in May. All the rest, almost 40 plants were started from seed. Even have some unknown varieties that popped in a compost box that now have dozens of green fruit.

I'm going to clone several dozen. Wanted 100 plants this year but 60-70 is fine. I also plan to keep a few going thru the winter in the greenhouse. I kept a large plant like that several years ago, even produced a few tomatoes.

I really am blessed to live here and need to start taking full advantage.

I checked the pot that female I clipped the other day was in.

Mycribal fungus throughout. I've seen it many times in pots and in the ground long before I was using manure and compost teas. It obviously occures naturally but I'm sure the compost tea helped as well as the bio-tone.

The top layer had dozens of sowbugs.

I had added a couple of inches of composted horse manure a month plus ago which may have harbored the bugs. Doesn't matter, all they do is ariate the soil.

I hate growing weed in pots. This poor girl was root bound, just as I'm sure her two sisters are. I have a steady supply of pallets and will make a few extra large containers for next year.

So far I've only tried the trim on the six stems I clipped over a week ago. Good strong high hitting both body and head at the same time. I'll give the buds a try this weekend. They've been jarred for about a week now and getting a deeper and sweeter smell by the day.

I've had issues with moth larva in the past (mainly cabbage moth) borrowing into buds so this year I planted a row of 5 Brussellsprouts, a winter plant in these parts.

Gophers have taken two and one is a runt. Look how the leaves have been munched. I've only found one larva on my pot plants and that was a couple months ago on a plant in the greenhouse. I'll try and grow plants of the cabbage family in the future for the moths to target. Seems to work.

Some thoughts on raised beds. I've tried treating the plants individually, watering around each, and then treating the entire box as one and have found much better growth treating each box as one living unit, watering the entire box. I mention as this has really made a difference. Just food for thought.

Work has been a killer lately and I'm beat. Really need a vacation or at least a few days in the mountains doing nothing. Discussions with the boss continue. Soon, I hope or I'll have to push back my upcoming coco grow.

Time to get hammered

Had another moment with our youngest. I told him not to say anything to anyone last we spoke. He tells his brother who lives in Seattle who promptly tells his mom. Gotta love it. So we once again discussed the topic of NOT TELLING ANYONE! Good learning experience. Hey, he's 20. I cut him some slack and cut up a bud of homegrown and pulled out the bong. First time we puffed together but he had just got the trashcans and had gotten trashed. Little shit. It's all good. I'm gonna set him up with a pot of dirt and a sunflower seed and see how he does. Circle of life, Simba.
