I've always wanted to plant a dozen or more seeds of a strain and pick out the best several young plants and not worry about males but like most I've only had 3 seeds of any one strain as they're usually freebies. If you want to keep a particular strains genetics you've gotta cross at least one of the fem plants. Starting tomorrow I'm going to attempt reversing not only regular seed plants but Blueberry Hashplant which was 1 of 3 fem seeds I fell in love with and have kept by clone for over 3 years. Fem seeds of a fem seed plant

Once upon a time there was a part one where I purchased all the ingredients, mixed, sprayed and failed. I even tried injecting the mix into the hollow part of a plant and failed at finding said hollow part at the time and quit before sabbing that needle into my hand/fingers.

In Part Deux I'll be strapping on my lab coat, gloves and mask while attempting to reverse a plant by topping and placing a drop of STS into the stem cavity as well as the 'ol stand by, spraying every node every 3-5 days on a female plant.

First up is Mother's Milk
Rev-fem MM A1

She'll be my first subject. If all goes well in 3 weeks or so I should have some fem pollen for this girl

Who will be flipped today among with

another for more fem seeds.

My hope is to continue with Blueberry Hashplant, which was topped recently or she would've been first. She's scheduled next for Oct 20.

Every 10 days a new strain will be added. Here's the schedule

Oct 10 Mother's Milk

Oct 20 Blueberry Hashplant

Oct 30 Gelato 33

Nov 1 Cherry Wine hemp

Nov 8 Granddaddy Purple

STS is arriving today per UPS

and will spend the night in the fridge after I read every word on packaging

10 oz should get me started and I'll order another bottle if necessary, hopefully the same brand

So, if you've ever thought about making your own fem seeds or just interested how it's down, tag along

Sorry Plumber but we'll be waiting in the shadows with you. I'm looking forward to following this "lab experiment" LOL. Hang in there.

Really frustrating. For me now is the perfect time to start. I never just rush into projects and have been thinking about this for several years and planned this over the past month on a start date with the clones I had been taking

It may arrive tomorrow but at this point I'm very unhappy with UPS and Mary J's Apothecary

So here we are, giving grief to an AI bot from Amazon. I was upset with the wrong people. Here I thought Mary J's was responsible for hiring UPS knowing there have been problems with deliveries but of course it was Amazon the whole time

Amazon is great when it works well but I've noticed problems whenever they incorporate UPS and especially USPS.

So apologies to Mary J. Let's hope the idiots at What Brown can do for me can find my package and actually get it to me

This has become a total cluster

UPS finally admitted the package was damaged and is being returned. Why It took them a week to admit is another story

Spoke with Mary J and decided to cancel the undeliverable order and reorder with a $6 discount on each of 2 bottles for a $12 savings and then paid another $12 (so much for my saving $) on shipping so I don't go through this BS again.

So looks like this will only put me back 10-14 days and all the plants I have waiting will get larger and will make more pollen and seeds. Now we wait, again

Flipped the first 2 Mother's Milk receivers

These 2 will be enjoying the sunny so cal weather, now that's it's back to normal and will quickly form flowers being removed from the 15 hr days of the greenhouse to recieving about 11:20 and winding down until the Winter Solstice Dec 20 to just under 10hrs.

The planned reversie, as it were

will stay under lights until the reversal begins. Not holding my breath but hoping for the 20th.

I think I'll be flipping all the receivers at least 5-7 days before the reversie as I believe this takes 20-30 days for the female to produce pollen which would put the receivers around week 4ish of flower and that's perfect in my experience to produce a lot of good mature seeds with a solid week of pollen going into wk #5 and then cut off to eliminate immature seeds allowing the plant to finish at 8-9 weeks.

I'll keep as much pollen of each for other crazy experiments.

I think the greatest aspect of this hobby is continuing to try new and different things and always learning.

Smoke 'em if ya got 'em

The main reason I'm doing this for a Cherry Wine hemp strain I've had for 4+ years by cloning. She's been tested at 12-18% CBD & 0.3% THC. Smoke her all day and you won't get high but she sure tastes great. I have probably 50+ seeds or more but the first time I grew them it took 40+ seeds to get 4 plants, and all turned out female. I'm retired now, devoting the majority of my time to growing and have this opportunity to make as many fem seeds as possible and there's no way I could pass it up. I've got Bodhi's Mothers's Milk going on year 2 and Blueberry Hashplant on year 3. And a friend who lives 4-5 blocks north of me made and gave me a couple hundred seeds of a Gelato 33 and I got pink flowers off her. I got 2 plants out of 36 seeds. They're old so I'm lucky to have grown them but now I get the opportunity to make fresh fem seeds. And I've got a GDP I've been working on for about 7+ years and I'd love several hundred fem seeds of her as well.

My actual business plans revolve around Cherry Wine's CBD and whole plant extraction into coconut oil as well as hash & flower, but mainly made into a sauve for skin ailments and beat the competition by 50% not that there are many people doing this but the market for CBD products is booming and I'd like to ride that train. It's become an old mans dream. I was just thinking this morning I could include free fem seeds with every $25 4oz sauve order Everyone should have goals or you just vegg until to clock out

I still have all the chemicals from last year in the fridge and almost pulled them out again last week but i really dont wanna mess this up so I'll wait. And paying for shipping maybe I'll get it quicker.

@Mikedin has been grafting strains together and I asked him his opinion on opening up a stem and injecting the STS right into the hollow. He suggested cutting it like a graft, inject and tape back together. I'm going to give this a try as it's something I've been thinking about for over a year now. If it works no more spraying every 3-5 days to change a plant

And so it begins

I guess it pays to pay for shipping

Our Reversie

Choosen for its smaller size as pollen balls hold a LOT of pollen so we don't need a huge plant to produce it.

And our soon to be seedy girls

They've been outside, basically flipped as I keep a 15/9 light cycle in the greenhouse since Thursday 10/16 and are stretching. Very nice and healthy.

Instructions state to start spraying 2 days before flip so I'm gonna take her out back behind the greenhouse where it's all shady, spray her up, let her dry and bring her back in.

Some thoughts... I wish I had sprayed the plant with neem oil a day or 3 before but I bet the coating (oil? soap?) agent should suffocate the little bastards Not sure but I'll be keeping a watchful eye

STS does quickly expire. Keep in the fridge

You have no idea how badly I want to SPRAY SPRAY SPRAY EVERY FKING THING Serioudly, I want to spray each strain's representative today, RIGHT FKING NOW! But alas, I'm also somewhat logical and thoughtful (ok, sometimes) and rarely make rash decisions, like when I was younger so we do the right thing and we wait for another 5 days before flipping the next two seedy girls...

Guess who @Putthataway @Helplogin
Yup, the Blueberry Hashplant. it's gonna happen I try hard to be a man of my word, even though I have CRS these days, Can't Remember Shit
I love you man

Out pollen producer

Best hobby EVER!

I got two new citrus trees last weekend. They came with some critters, even after the major soaking we got the bug bites. Whipped out the neem and they seem to be loving it. Not seeing more bites and getting new growth. Next week I’ll fertilize them. I am going to use sticks. The birds kept eating the pellets last time.

I am doing the same with Autoflowers over the winter but with colloidal silver. This may help you. Good luck.

The methodology they utilized is sound and results are what they are. A few more male flowers using STS over CS but not enough to say "practically" there is a difference. Same with seed count and viability. And added stressors (daylight hours or dark and severe topping) wasn't beneficial.

No problem, you are welcome. Good luck!

I sprayed down the Reversie last night

No worse for wear. I've read about some sprays will injure the plant/leaves but she looks fine.

The Receivers

They were flipped 10 days ago. Still stretching and forming flowers and looking great.

Look who got flipped last night

Blueberry Hashplant. This one

I'll begin spraying on the 30th and will be flipped 11/2.

I'm having to top all those plants waiting in the pipeline

Pushing this back 10 days has really made s difference. All the GDP's & G33's are 2+ feet tall and have to be trimmed down and the hemp will need topping within the week, 10 days max.

Mother's Milk 3rd spraying

Blueberry Hashplant

First spraying. She'll get flipped in a couple days. The 2 girls of each have been flipped and forming flowers. Mother's Milk

I didn't get pics of the BBHP but they've only been flipped for a few days.

Hey there brother sex flipper. Hot off the press we now have a timeline, method and results on letting the boys in on the action. I guess cannabis is a lot more "Woke" than we ever thought
