Wow. Great read. I haven’t even thought of reversing males There have been a few I wish I could have reversed. Some of my GDP males for sure. Someone even entered one in the monthly photo contest once upon a time

I hadn't thought about it either but since seeds are a valuable food source I can see why they are looking at it. You can get Ethephon pretty reasonably.

Another trial saw that the use of Ethephon actually increased THC content in the leaves and inflorescents of the males only. And developed fertile seeds.

Those are some handsome boys!

A little. There's some spotting on some leaves I would assume is from the spray but not worried about it at all. Otherwise I see no issues.

I've moved into a hospital room with my wife this week. Her appendix burst a week ago and here we are. She's on the mend and hopefully will get released Monday or Tuesday so I'm only home for an hour or so a day. And with the current weather, atmospheric river hitting us I haven't been able to collect any pollen. Next week, after we're home and the rain stops I'll put the 2 flowering girls next to the reversed one and get them pollinated.

It's been one of those crazy weeks of life getting in the way

Then you'll have 8hrs a day to bring the plants back to life

While she slept today I ran home. Here's some of the discoloration

Not a big deal, I do spray them down, top and bottom. Probably use more than needed but I learn a lot from doing so once I run out of these 2 bottles I'll try to make my own again. I won't be hard pressed to produce fem seeds so I'll be able to utilize a control group and do some experimenting.

I missed the 11-15 spraying of the BBHP

and Cherry Wine hemp

The spraying will resume tomorrow, 11/20 and I'll be adding

GDP. These two are the females who will make the seeds. I've been flipping them 4-5 days before the reversed plants to give them a few extea days to develop flowers and ready for the pollen.

The Mother's Milk girls got a few crispy leaves from drying out a week or so ago

but won't hurt a damn thing when they're all said and done making seeds.

Pollen is beginning to fall

Flowers weren't affected

I'll give them until Dec 10th before taking the pollen maker down and placing her in a large paper sack and collect as much of her pollen as possible over the next several days.

Curious as if you sprayed the whole plant/s or by branch/es?

The first time I used STS, I sprayed the whole plant......

Kinda bummed by doing that, cause I didn't leave anything for it to reverse itself, to itself....if that makes any sense....

Now I'll spray a couple branches and mark um.....

Definitely don't wanna smoke the sprayed sts flower!!!!

Thank you my friend. Wife continues to give me grief so I know she's healing

I sprayed the plants top to bottom even laying them on their sides to spray the undersides of all leaves and I sprayed the nodes heavy. I did this purposely as I have several of each strain to use as the seed makers.

I did notice that the BBHP isn't making pollen on all flowers. I believe this was due to missing some spraying while we spent time at the hospital and then after returning home and spending most of my time that first week home with Mrs Plumber.

I will try just spraying a couple branches on a few new ones as I still have plenty of clones, especially of the G33's but I'm getting low on the spray and will have to try making my own again. I still have all the individual chemicals to make it and have kept them in the refrigerator.

And NO, never smoke any sprayed plants

I thought I heard somewhere that this mainly worked well with Thai Hemp, and anybody who has ever been to Bangkok understands why.

I decided to go with STS instead of CS. I am just doing select branches and nodes maybe half the plant. I'll compare with ya. Oh I am doing autos though. My STS should be here tomorrow.
