solo #3 cgl. still alive.. i am tempted to up pot to a 1g pot when i flower it. just so i get some herb yo. i do not think i would ever grow a shit load of plants in solo cups.. but i could see 1g pots.. but i dunno we see what happens.

And i was wrong about the wind being gone. It blew hard enough the fire hemp fell over. But it's growing so much better now. Wow. More pics in a few days of that.
Oh, and tomorrow gonna remove the leaves the locusts got to.

Good morning fellow farmers...

I have been doing a lot of thinking in the passed couple days...
I am going to buy a 400watt HPS minimum for my next indoor grow.
Going to have my box (CFL's) for starting/seedlings/veg and then a place for them to flower under HPS... yes yes the CFL man is moving over :)

But for today i am going to show you each of my babies...

Here we have our Northern Lights: (main cola cut off on purpose)

Here is the old indoor:

Must say i am happy with her progress... she smells so amazing... haven't smelled anything like her as yet...
We have been getting a few days of 30-34 degrees C...

The last day has been... Odd. Life's throwing me a curve in my esoteric life. Nothing serious, from the outside anyway.

But but beyond that yay, the last pepper treatment kept the locusts off the leaves. Boo, they chewed the stalk instead. So i applied more pepper (smells super amazing btw, like an exotic pepper plant.)

I remember too high ph can weaken plants insect resistance, so going to base it out some. Fun fun.

I found something odd growing in my garden. It's growing from under the pot with the cauliflower. I'm also including the picture that is making me ready to keep this plant.
Anyone know what it is? I know it grows all over the place out here, but haven't seen one in years.
And btw, that's the kind of luck i have.

I think the one with the bigger leaves is the rudy. First impressions, this is a mostly wild plant, very little if any specific breeding. To find out just how wild it is, i'll track how it behaves to fertilizer. Untamed wild plants act freaky when given fertilizer. Some go into massive node growth (i remember seeing a wild flower at the edge of someones garden. He had fertilized it just a little and it had sprouted about 35 or 40 stems from every node. Also alot more common then that is twisting stems and leaves.
At the extreme other end is fertilizer dependence. Some plants when fed enough fertilizer grow dependent on it (think junkie plant).
So when i start it on low doses of fertilizer (some amount i know most weed plants can take) and it has problems with getting too much then i know it's fairly wild. Or if it's from stock that has already adjusted to fertilizer.

And because at this point I am 4 seeds away from my legal max, i decided to try out the free seeds, the german hemp. I'm really hoping it's the stuff with the black tips. Like the last pic
