Oh dam right... I especially like the tombstone w kirt Russel, but Costner was bad ass to. Shit they remake all these dum ass movies, I'd like to see a remake of tombstone, and young guns. I bet no one these days could pull off such good characters of the west.

Ain’t no one doing doc Holliday better than val Kilmer, the bar scene with Johnny ringo is one of the best scenes I’ve ever watched.

Glad you are going to get into mycology. It’s good for you. I’m proficient In growing as well. If you cant get in touch with 1d1 you can shake this tree too. I love to see someone take the initiative. Best of luck.

Thanks I appreciate it, used to have a spot in sw Florida where I would pick them years ago but now I’d rather grow them. I’ve been buying the uncle bens brown rice and for substrate haven’t got there yet. I’m still so busy cleaning up from the hurricane I had to upgrade to a new big boy chainsaw for all my trees I have to cut up still plus hunting season just started lol

You do have to buy them unless you can get your hands on spore prints. Then you can just suck that up into a sterile hypo with distilled water, then inoculate your sterile grain.

I just got off a website, says I can buy a whole kit for 30 dollars. Supposed to produce 5 oz of dry mushrooms.
So how often do u they grow. I know I see wild mushrooms pop up overnight outside. Is it the same way. Because if it's a fast harvest, I'd def b interested. After all there is a shortage of mushrooms down here now...

Fruiting mushrooms in a box, is roughly 4-5 days. Still very fast once you start to introduce air. Most of the time is spent colonizing grain and substrate, roughly 3 weeks for that part. But after the first batch you yank you’ll get subsequent yields (or a flush in mushie speak) every 4-5 days as long as you don’t infect the box.

Dam, sounds interesting... Thank u. So even buying the bag, still gonna be over 3 weeks to colonize grain and substrate.

SKS, Respect!

One of Son in laws buddies killed this one yesterday I think.

Not a huge rack but that’s a large bodied deer for that area.

mmmmmmm peyote....1977, super nauseous for what seemed like hours. All I remember is a brilliant feeling of color and a sense I was floating. UMass soccer field playing frisbee all night

It’s incredibly hard to come by here, with all of the Native American church regulations there are, they have mostly been picked dry, so it has been up to the churches to grow their own sacrament here. It drives me crazy that the fed had to watchdog them. It pisses me off to no end. And yes, last time I ate a button, I was dosed to the gills for 36 hour peak it seemed like. Truly some reality bending stuff. The Native American community knows what the hell they are doing…..

Used to buy it at UMass in the late 70's, amazing trip. I truly believe I see the world differently after a couple of those experiences.
