The males name is Otis, and the females name is Dotty. I gotta keep em separated tho. Otis will literally bang Dotty to death, he's a sexual superstar lol!

My husband owns a sawmill and mushrooms like that however sometimes harmful to the tree, do make really pretty wood when it's cut down if you ever have to cut her down, especially in walnut , you should have some super pretty spalting in the grain!

Found this rose in the hedgerow. I didn't have to plant it, trim it, protect it from the winter, spray it, etc.
Did that for years to my Jackson Perkins roses before giving up the battle and crying UNCLE.
This is my speed now.
BTW, it's very windy today and the petals look double but they're not.

inb4 wood isnt the subject anymore.


I bought the piece in the middle because i could actually afford it. Cured Flame Sapele mahogany.

This is what i did with it :3. Sorry my camera isn't as good as the seller. Neck is kiln roasted flame rock maple. Had to make a 2 piece body couldn't afford a chunk this nice big enough for a 1 and Flame figuring looks best on a 2 piece anyway. And i went for a flame body, not just a flame top. Isn't bookmatched, but who cares it has a pickguard. Id have had to make a 4 piece body to get a book-match from this board anyway, and i didn't want that much glue in my guitar.

Finish on neck is straight boiled linseed. Body is True oil over linseed

Absolutely beautiful! Is the fence and string to keep the critters out?
My neighbor put a pond in and the water birds and geese ate all his Koi.
And the flowers are fantastic!
