Glad you corrected that in a later post. a 6500KW (that's 6,500,000 watts!). When I saw that you said you got it for 300 bucks I almost pooped my pants. Frick...I woulda offered you double that for it lol.

D'OH! That's what I get for typing on the fly and not paying attention to every tab I have open.

I've had off-grid stuff on my mind because of our power bills and consistent outages. We need to find a contractor to give us a bid on going solar, I think we're looking at just under $40K, give or take a few watts. I'd rather pay down a loan on solar installation than continually pay PG&E. You folks on hydro get incredible rates.
