ppm off the chart

using fox farm soil in 3 gall pot and the runoff in catch trays is reading 2000+ on my truncheon. had to flush until they drained @700-900 ppm. believe i was overwatering annd overfertigating(drip system) pots were heavy and res water was at 800 ppm tap water coming out @ 280 ppm . being that the soil is already fertilized,should there be NO extra fetilizer added to the res?

It may be reading 2000+ because the run off has lots of soil in it. how do the plants look?

i have not much (if any) soil in catch trays.bottoms of pots hav clay pellets to hold the medium. plants are looking phenomenal after a good flush, drooping fans are now @ attention and thinngs are back to where they should be(i think) wont be fertilizing until flower now.. or irrigating until pots lose some weight.
