~Purple Kush Cake~Spider Farmer SE3000!

On the heights and % I am curious how you run the Mars Hydro?
Unless there is a tremendous difference between the two cheap Chinese lights [ I run Mars Hydro ] I suspect the SF will run the same or very close to how you run the MH ?
No experience with SF so maybe just thinking outloud ...

I was going to run it just like the 300 watt Mars Hydro FC E3000 and 150 watt ts1000. Seedlings 24 in, vegetative 18 in, flowering 12 inches. I also have a 400 w MH / HPS wing reflector I may throw in.

Happy Sunday fam!!! The terps are super sweet smelling they remind me of that punch cake. Yet the stem rub is cinnamon just like the purple kush. It’s gonna be Interesting to see how this one finishes out it’s looking like I’m gonna have to pop a bunch more of these

I also grabbed another full tray of plants for the garden. We grow it all over here!!! What do you guys grow in your veggies gardens?

Back with an update and I’m playing musical plants once again. So I have this plant in the 2x8 closet space under my custom home made light until I get the SE3000 moved over. Everyone have a good week!

We are nearing the finish line and the. It’s on to another grow!! I just bought a new over sized 2x4 (28in by 55 by 80) bought a new 330 watt bar fixture for it. I got it for a deal I couldn’t refuse as the company was going under and everything sold cheap. More on that later but I’m gonna do some fun stuff in that space and it’s forsure gonna be some elite clones so stay tuned!

This light is gonna slay along with the super high ceiling tent I’m stoked!! I snagged this for 250 with shipping! 150 if you were there to pick it up locally. Below it says 330$ but he has lowered the price since then.

We are nearing the end and I’ll probably scope the trichomes today and start taking off fans and get the dry tent ready for harvest!! Then start getting ready for a brand new grow with a bunch of new stuff and I’m using the big earthbox sub irrigated planters with the dragons flame genetics Mac dragon bx1. I’ll be flowering them under a 330 watt bar fixture in the spider farmer pro grade 28x55x80 so it’s nice and tall and also wider and longer than your standard 2x4 tent. I’m going to do no training or atleast no topping and minimal training. I’m just gonna see how the genetics express themselves naturally. Everyone have a good weekend and blaze up!!!

Today I scoped the trichomes for the first time and the plant needs a bit more time. The terps were super sweet and tropical like the punch cake parent but now I’m getting the purple kush terps coming in at the end with the fresh oil/diesel/spicy/cinnamon terps making an interesting funky smell come thru.

This time I only topped the top 4 mains and the branches closest to the base of the plant were left alone to catch up to the topped ones.

Well it’s finally the weekend and this plant is coming down!!! A lot of the buds have a pink/red hue and the terps are a combo of both the purple kush cinnamon/spice/diesel terps and the sweet tropical funk terps of the punch cake (wedding cake X purple punch).

Sunday funday!! I finally chopped the Purple Kush Cake! I’ll give a full smoke report and some shots of the trimmed/dried bud when the time comes. I also got my brand new 330 watt bar fixture set up in my new oversized 2x4 tent from spider farmer. I’ll be growing @Dragonsflame Genetics Mac Dragon bx1 and Ethos Genetics Lemon Berry Candy OG R2. These will be in earthbox SIP (sub irrigated planters. No topping or training besides supercropping of the main stem. More on that soon!!!

I got the last of it trimmed and curing in some grove bags. It was grown from seed and I reversed my purple kush to a Punch Cake and only grew out one but she’s a purple kush leaner forsure. I got just over 3 oz from this plant. The sweet tropical terps faded and she’s almost all purple kush when it comes to terps.
