I run about 70 watts per! I think that I run mine at about 70% depending on what in the 3x3 tent. Above that I get light stress.Just a question for you led guys running higher watts like 50w/sq ft. Do you run them maxed out and at what height? Reflective walls?
Also which boards?
I'm just trying to figure out why I have such a different experience.
Two smaller lights, rather than a single larger light, will also keep you in business just in case one fails! PLUS, plants of different heights are more easily accommodated.Awesome I think you will do well with it. The 2 boards will give ya better spread and allow you to keep em a bit closer without sacrificing the spread. That will help ya on the intensity.

Just noticed that yours is shipping DHL and for $65! Mine was shipped via UPS and for less $$ too.
I have never had a good experience with DHL sorry to say..hope your is better.
For Canada, we usually ship it via FedEx and UPS. For European countries, we usually work with GLS and DHL. I must say DHL service is really not comparable to other courier companies
I'm not in a huge hurry to get the lights. If I receive it within the next couple of weeks I will be fine. I am also not a huge fan of DHL....I think it's a us canada thing. I'm in Canada, DHL delivered both mine. No issues at all. But u hear you, I much prefer UPS too.

You like this idea....In a 3x3 I have 2 x 240w quantum setups.
I havent needed to dim them, but I have them mounted about 8 inches from the top of the tent and also dont need to lower them. So far so good. I think there is enough saturation that I dont need to worry about it. I hope
480/(3x3=9)=53.333 watts per square foot. I'm thinking of adding some supplemental red late in flower too. Maybe another 40 to 50w
You like this idea....
Really add the extra bc...
There's a difference ........
Your all ready have drivers from the little cods you got....
I run my QB's about the same as you. 400 watts over a 4x4 or 25watts/sq ft, and thats with them 24"+ over the canopy. Seen no difference when I turned them up to 30+ watts/sq ft. But I am in a tent also...Just a question for you led guys running higher watts like 50w/sq ft. Do you run them maxed out and at what height? Reflective walls?

nothing on the red.... don't get hot at 20w at all.. I have room were they don't touch the alum so air moves though....Noice, I was going to just use a couple bulbs at first.
HIGROW 36W All Deep Red 660nm LED Grow Light Bulb for Indoor Plants Flowering Bloom and Fruiting, Grow Spectrum Enhancement and Light Therapy
Was gonna ask, what are you using for a heatsink on those reds?
