how should I go about switching my light cycle around. Day 4 of flower and its too cold at night, room drops to 50 degrees over night. the light goes out at night and I need to switch it around so it stays on at night

I would use a 24 hour dark cycle Followed by the resumption 12 hrs. of day then dark and so on..
Only way I know to pull this off because 12/12 has begun..

Peace and best 'o luck

Day 4? Not really an issue if you just switch. I've never read a compelling argument that 24 night is better than 24 day. As plants measure night I would be inclined to assume (very dangerous word) that a longer day length would be less stress. But that's just conjecture, either way is going to put the things through a loop until they readjust.

Normally the lights on cycle can be manipulated fairly easily when you need to do it,its the lights out cycle that you need to keep as consistent as possible, glad everythings fine.
