Has anyone seen the article saying rain water is no longer safe to drink because of “forever chemicals”? Basically cancer causing chemicals. Just wondering if anyone has heard this & if this comes into play with plants nowadays.

yes i read that, but to late for us.
it's there in all water and that's all there is to it.

Yes i saw it, it's just fringe yellow journalism
nah, it's in rain, but dick all can be done about it unless you have a time machine.
same as micro plastics, every living thing on earth has some in them.
we survive though

Filter it or steam-distill it and any problems using it are solved, as long you are using the correct filters or if distilling, getting all the bad stuff out rather than condensing it with your water. That will solve that issue. tobh's comment raises a valid issue that filters/distillation can't solve✌🏻

you and me both. that, or complete separation from society entirely. only need a couple dozen packs of seeds and enough wilderness to disappear if you have the know how.
I think that their ultimate goal is to make sure that none of us can disappear...without their approval, that is. They want it all! Good thing that most can't see the cliff up ahead?

I have 2 properties in California with allodial titles. Bought them off some old timer that took a liking to me.
Rainwater collection being illegal is not like that everywhere. But where it is like that, that's downright draconian! Some states you can't even have solar pannels! Air is not far behind😁

What state doesn't allow solar? Sounds like fake news.

Both fit my definition of fake news. Articles with misleading headlines written by people with an agenda to push. No state has outlawed solar panals.
Never said they outlawed them. Special interests related to the income of the power companies make it as hard as they can when they can. For example, some places that are grid-tied charge you a fee for buying your solar-generated electricity from you. That fee seems to be based on how much you sell back so that you only ever get a little benefit! There's situations where if your solar is grid-tied, you can't use your solar power, it's strictly to feed into the grid and you get a credit off your monthly electric bill. Not fake news, bud. Sorry!
