Yeah man....my thought is there is no reason not to at least try my own chucking.....gradually get into a feedback loop with the plants so that we reflect each other positively...

Seems cool. Maybe I'd even end up with something someone else wanted to try. But mostly it just sounds cool to have that connection with the plants.

I have also thought about doing my own thing for a while and then trying it vs crosses from Shantibaba. Like i try crossing my own widow and skunk and then try his shark shock or something.

Idk. Could be cool.

Ok... this is a Chemdawg #4 male. Last 4 seeds. Got two plants. 1 male. 1 fem. LUCKY. I cloned both of them before I flowered them. So... that's a really good thing. Chemdawg is an awesome foundation strain. Nice to have one of each going into perm veg. So onto the plan...

I really really really like using a water color brush to paint the pollen on to chosen buds, especially for this kind of circumstance. Because....

I already crossed my Purple pheno Astro Kush to an awesome Astro Kush male... cause seeds lol! And I live Kush. But I only did two popcorn branches.

I'll mark the branches of the plants i pollenate with plant tape marked CD. Cause a 3rd branch of Astro Kush is getting crossed with Chemdawg #4.

Cant take credit for it but thanks :) All I did was add light, soil, water and THIS happened... :))))))))

Origin? Gah. This is a who tf really knows... There's this guy on Strainly... Mark. He's an older guy, REALLY nice. A buck a bean or 100 for 80 bucks. Lots and lots of old school stuff. So I'm like how many strains do you have. 42. 5 beans per strain? Yep he did it. Ended up with 44 strains and ALOT of extra.

I've ran into what you'd expect from old school strains. Non viable seeds, I dont like autos (8 strains were autos), limited hermie action probably brought on by stress from my heavy hands. I got a heavy m to f ratio across all strains.

Buuuuuuuut... when it says GSC they smell like sugar bread in the oven. When it says Purple Kush or Afghani, that's what appears. They all out out heavy frost besides the Lemon Skunk #2. That just grows a solid cola like a fng softball bat and knock me in my ass at bedtime. The strains imo that I have grown out (21 tried in all so far) are solid. Definitely a bargain deal, but a lot more work than I expected.

And honestly I'm grateful for it. Its forced me to reconsider everything I do and how I do it. I learned it's one thing to "master" a strain or two. It's a completely different ball game when I'm trying to juggle a dozen or so strains at one time in various stages of growth.

Plant meditation rules all by the way.

Oh weekly update on my porn star (sorry not sorry sort of proud of this one). Shes swelling, spitting pistols, and frosty. Forecast more of the same in the coming week. I've pushed the limits with the nutes, thus the tip burn. Dialed it back a bit. All in all it can take its good ole sweet time. I have a other that is finishing. But it's a little one that I stunted. I'll grab some pics before it gets cut. Hope this big one ends up as colorful as the little one. Its pretty :)))

Yeah dude. Nope I have only gotten males and non viable seeds. Mine looks pretty kush like though. I can snap a pic of the fem in a sec. Lights just went out. Tell me what you're thinking?

That male looks sativa dominant and the flower pattern looks very kush to me. I'm not sure that's right because I thought Chemdog #4 was an indica dominant strain though a well known kush came out of it? I'm confused.
