hey crew so I havnt told you guys really that I have switched to a new nutrient regime

so I have switched to the Maxibloom craze of years past

so Maxibloom by GH is essentially a dry form of Lucas formula

which gives you a NPK ratio of 1-3-2.8 which is great for flowering as well as veg growth under low light conditions such as T-5
the common usage for this is 7g/1tsp per gal
that brings you to 2.0 ec/1000ppm .5 scale

this is very high in ec for how I run

so this is my new schedule per gal

Silica Blast 5ml
Cal-Mg + 3ml
Maxi 3.5g

this brings me to 700ppm/1.4 ec
with a whopping $.18 per gal

all of my plants are lookin on point including my veggies peppers/tomatoes

just wanted to give the crew something to think about

people have been running this for years

I was telling Event that I have been inching towards dry salts for ever and was considering Jacks
then I got Veg+Bloom which def didnt work out
then noticed that a Bag of Maxi had been sitting on my desk for like 2 years
so decided to try it out

should of been doing this along time ago!!

hope everyones morning is going well

you can run it all the way through but you can also use Maxigrow for veg which has a little more N
same price $15.00 for 2.2lbs

and that 2.2lbs will get you 285 gal of nutrient solution
I run 15 gal a week through my DTW
1 bag will net me 19 weeks or 2 full runs for $15.00 in nutrients.....now that is def cutting costs
of course boosters can be added if wanted

there is no real way to calculate GPW
honestly you are just gonna have to maximize the space you have
and know the sqft your lights provide
I would honestly drop your 1000w to a 600
run 1200w over a 4x8 space
chalkline the space
build a trellis around that space and maintain your plants within that space

run the cheapest nutes possible to drop cost
run lights at night to drop electrical cost
when bringing plants into flower clear all vegatation up to very top 1/2 nodes
flip and allow to grow up
once stretch is over trim everything 18" below the tops of your canopy

those items will atleast help maximize your space

the trick is to get between 30-60w per sqft

that should net you between 3-4#

with dry fert say Maxibloom
you can hit them with koolbloom at initial flip and again @ week 4 then cruise to the finish

clean and simple
easy peasy

that should get you closer to where you wanna go

Well its all about what my state does... If they go legal, im gonna fall in line...
I did pretty well with that trellis when i used it...
I need that 1200g per harvest!
I think i will do the maxibloom
and i think i will do the defol/lollipop
Im not so concerned with bringing costs down, as much as i am interested in bringing production up... When i resume in the fall.. I need about 12# per yr. I want to limit my operation to 6 months...
if we go legal, then thats all out the window, but till then...

Few pics of the mothers with just cfl room light...

thank you.. she has made me feel a little better now that she is bulking... She went back to some of her hierloom landrace sativa heredity in this pheno... I just got a special pheno, If i would of scrogged this auto out, she might have broke a record,,, If she keeps growing together making big colas, im gonna be very proud.. One thing i got to give rmol credit for, is this addition of t5 has made it super frosty!

Awesome. :D glad she's bulking and she's gonna be worth it in the end. For sure.

So I'm now convinced that the green crack I have is actually Dwarf Low Flyer and not green crack. Makes sense based on the Hangup on the word dwarf as well as it looks exactly like dwarf low flyer. That's my story. And it makes sense.
