I always suspect pH. But dont you for a min raise your ph to 6.7 in coco....! 6.0

Got the last bucket and bulkheads and air stones I needed to build out second site. This one will be much slicker looking. 2" PVC instead of 1.5". Less connectors and duct tape. And the 1" PVC for the return top feed line instead of 3/4"polytube or whatever I have now.

So I'm a moron @PhatNuggz i had the Red and Blue switch turned off. I think that's 20% less light i was giving plants not even factoring in the spectrum. That's a touch annoying. Only with myself though. Oh well. @EventHorizan heres a picture of the nute line. I just picked these up today... how does the numbers match with CC I'm curious...

And then some updates after pruning and bending a touch. When pruning it's great it almost seems like the leaves ready to come off just stick out at you with a glimmer. It was peaceful tonight.

I got some new Strawberry Banana Sherbet shatter that is lights out. So also enjoying that. Peace and Love everyone

Yea

for sure that's ph.

ok I just went through and read where your at. Your ph is too low that's why you are seeing these dificencies in the leaves. That twist is considered pig tailing. Noticed you had yellow tips that's from the combo of low ph and nutrient deposits. Also seeing some plants yellowing out on you that's lack of nitrogen. It's ok to see it where the fresh growth is coming from but she's def looking for that extra nitrogen. U should get that ph of ur medium to 6.7 6.8. This will allow you to run higher ppms and really crank it up.. just saying from expierence ppl are disgusted with the amount of nutes I run during flower outdoors I was running triple the amView attachment 663263 ounts from the recommended nectar chart
Just to make sure you're fully up to speed. I definitely appreciate the input. so the curling leaf is my RDWC GG4 in one tent. But the picture I posted for growgod was from another forum. I read that GG4 had the twisty leaf pheno trait and I was showing him where.
Then in my other tent I have several mediums. One of which is Coco. Are you saying my Coco should be 6.6-6.8? That does seem high based on what I've seen but I never know what to believe.
Also on my other mediums peat based mainly I use NFTG which advice is 6.1-6.3. I don't know if this has anything to do with the use of calcium throughout the lineup and the uptake pH of it.

So that being said does that make sense?

I dont know a lot about different nutrients other than most ppl give to much lol.. I will be moving to jacks hydro soon so i will be able to comment on that.. Another question for Wisher!

Ok so the guy Hammerhead has some ridiculous grows over at RollItUp and has run a shit ton of GG. And he says that is definitely a known GG4 characteristic ... so that's why I am wondering your thoughts with that new info

Lovett. I read through @Capulator thread on Jacks and highly informative and centering.

no its mine. its on a plant that everything else looks excellent on. Sometimes you just get a funny leaf from maybe temps in water get to low during lights off,, just never know. Its when you start to see a patern or multiple issues that u better get to looking,,, imo
It did just come off 48hrs dark too into only 80% of light it had before.

i never ran gg4, but @Wisher619 has and he would prob know if that was a trait of gg4...

@Wisher619 any thoughts? Is the twisty leaf a pheno which expresses itself in this clone? Does something trigger it, is it healthy or unhealthy?

In other words is the trait a physical phenotype that when grown healthy it will show or is it a reactive phenotype meaning when treated poorly or lacking something the twisty leaf is triggered?

@John Coward bro come on back and have a seat! Thought you were gonna chill :)

Good question. Now your thinking!

And as for my leaf tip curling down, i do see it slightly here and there. Here is what i believe. They wanted a higher feed but i dint think they wanted as much N. Im feeding them grow right now and i should prob switch to bloom nutes... Or maybe give them some kool bloom which i would imagine lowers the N value. but im new to this part and i just dont know!

so with all plants that exibit some oddity it is always from something negative going on in the plant
some strains or phenos of strains exibit certain oddities
I dont like calling it a trait because all strains can show the same trait
it is just that some may show signs of it easier than others
I have never gone far enough with GG as all times they hermed
and many of my friends had cuts that hermed as well

also...in coco you need to always keep the ph between 5.8-6.2

yes with NFTG you are correct
it needs to be at that ph for the fact that it is completely based on calcium

as for that new nutrient line

I have never used it or known anyone who has but I personaly would never use it as it is a Hawthorn Group product
GH and Botanicare yes are now owned by Hawthorne but I believe that is an actual product of Hawthorne
I am sure it is a rebrand but still I dont like to support anyone in bed with Mansanto
with GH and Botanicare
they still have retained the staff and scientists along with production control
Hawthorne just owns it now

this is just my Personal Opinion on the nutrient
