I'm impressed! Mother nature is a bad mama jama....

Sorry that I wasted your time introducing you to tinders thread. It sure seems like she has a difficult time following direction...
Probably some young female snow flake that wants all the info without searching. Even tho I think you guys even did the leg work for her and all she had to do was just follow directions. . Oh well. ..MY SHIT LOOKS GOOD THATS ALL I KNOW :)

So what's the easiest way to drain the RDWC system? Two reasons I ask- I need to do it on mine today and I am building the new one and am wondering if there is a better way. Thanks :)

I was thinking of just taking the line from the water pump back to main bucket and unhooking it. And just spraying into 5galllns until it's mainly empty then refill

That's how you do it, except you get a adapter that let's you hook it to a hose, then feed it to where you dump it. Or bucket like you said.
Then shop vac works good to get the last little bit....

Yuck look what was in the Rez. I don't think my roots look good. Oof. I was almost gonna be lazy and not take them out. Glad I did.

Roots look fine. Don't know what's discoloring them, but they look healthy
Maybe some black plastic i had in the system. I may put these back in and go no airstones in plant buckets and a bunch in control. Thoughts?

I think it should work. I mean if you're aerating 1/3 of the solution at any given time and it's being completely circulated every I don't know couple minutes I think the plants will get plenty of oxygenated solution. And have less air blasting directly on some of the roots which has to be detrimental.

Ok deforestation Done. Nute mix is mixing in one 5gal bucket. Have 10gal RO plus pool shock running in the system right now. Put a pic of how much I took off - it's not too much for flower right?

Nute mix is going to be 5gal of Veg and 10gal of Bloom nutes. Plus AgSil and CalMag. Probably aim for 1-1.2ec
