It is a good idea, for late flower you want lower temps and when theyre almost done or done they dont drink as much and you dont want high humidity with tight or big buds because mold. Anything that helps them realize in what "season" they are is good. Like Chucky said, thats an indoors thing because outdoors they already get the memo from the sun. Less hours of light, the sunlight gets dimmer, its colder, etc...Eliden brings some good info to the table, they could just be stalled out. I was thinking along the lines of dropping temps and cutting watering but am not sure if that’s a good idea or not.
Haven’t seen you around in a hot minute dude. Lower temps in late flower are more than anything to avoid moldy buds if you have big buds and to preserve the terpenes better but it will also give them information on how much time they have left.
Yes mine were small but they will get larger. Key is keeping them trimmed with LST.I have an OG Kush started for my outdoor season. Is yours really small? Mine is doing good but just seems tiny. I will keep this updated as my time goes on.
Sounds like a great idea. I overdried my outside weed last year.Good for you manglad you got this one done. My spare bedroom looks alot like yours at times with the hangings LOL. Keep a good eye on those when drying like that, mine take only about 4days of hanging with branches that size. And if the stems don't crack when you bend them but the buds feel dry cut those buds off anyway. I'll use brown paper grocery bags to dry a additional day on the buds. Just a tip from your granny LOL
Great job.
No you didntSounds like a great idea. I overdried my outside weed last year.
Im sorry man, but dont be discaouraged it happens. I had two massive plants once, 2 of the biggest I ever had, then to my surprise the buds were all fluf and I got excited for nothing, didnt taste like anything, didnt get you very high. They were healthy too, to this day I dont know if I did something wrong or it was the seeds because it was 2 out of 2 plants. Could have been the seeds? Are they from a reputable source?Well I'm disappointed. 98% of the buds are fluff. I maybe had 5 buds that had any density to them. I don't know what I did wrong. Doesn't light have allot to do with tight buds?
The high is kind of nice but not overwhelming. The buds smell like a gassy pine tree which is nice. Anyway I hope next time goes better. So wasteful it seems. All that time and energy for something mediocre.
I have a 450-watt light. 6-inch exhaust and 2 oscillating fans. I know for most of flower my vpd was between 1 to 1.5. My temps ranged from about 65 to 74. I tried to keep humidity at 45% to 50%. My nutes are Gaia Green. I followed a monthly regimen of what it called for. I gave them kelp with every watering. I gave them some molasses a few times. That's about it.Im sorry man, but dont be discaouraged it happens. Also that strain should be, according to online sources, fruity, nutty and sweet. Sometimes botrytis can give you that pine, dry leaf taste, or sometimes its just sap in the buds (yes, weed can produce sap too but its not common). Are they brownish inside? Sometimes a bit of botrytis can creep in and if its only a bit its very smokable, sometimes you dont even notice, but it can be there.
What do you think could have gone wrong? Can we go through your set up again? I dont remember many things since Im in several threads and its been a while since Ive been in the forums.
Don’t forget to say that it was about a 20 week indoor grow!Oh and light was on 80% at about 26 inches or so away.
