Those are some clones I have going in the same tray. My understanding is that it reduces transpiration. The clones don't have roots to take water in yet but still transpire through the leaves. So trimming them reduces the surface area that let's water off. I'd love for a more seasoned grower to chime in tho as I know there are several other reasons people from the clone leaves.why did you cut the fan leafs on some of them.

I had terrible germ rates starting up. Now I get 100%. I hope that continues. I soak in water and h202 until I see a taproot, then into rapid rooter, soil, coco whatever I'm growing in.you got all 5 to pop thats better than me. I would have had a room full if I could get 100% I'm more like 45%
