Tropicana cookie. Nugs are just getting denser and denser. Not much smell. So curious how this one’s gonna smoke.

Once they felt down on the ground along with the hole main stem they never continue to flower properly:(They pull of their roots or something and something happens after that...I have seen this on my outdoor plants, even if I support them after that, once felt in flower they still flower but it's not the same. But still nice buds on it:)The others are really nice too,i like that tight Chem OG4!This soil is moving, wow!:D

That’s true Ina. It would be better if I didn’t let them slump. Laziness on my part. I think the #4 Chem Og could be the keeper based on her looks but I’ll have to smoke it to be sure. Thanks for your continued interest.

The Tropicana cookies came down. Not terribly impressed with the yield. Buds are pretty tiny but like little marbles. I may have let it go too long as well. The leaves were pretty crunchy. Anyway. Here is the big bag...

It’s been a while mostly because I’ve been a terribly lazy farmer. Veg took a beating with several dry outs due to my lack of attention. The big bag has been sailing along beautifully despite my neglect. Aside from tying up the dropping buds I have done nothing this summer but plant and harvest. Not too shabby. The blumats have started to get wonky. I definitely need to pull/clean/reset that system. Other than that big bags.
The Tropicana cookies did not yield much this first go. But boy was it frosty. I had much or what I would call larf (1.5 oz). Than decent presentable bud (.8 oz). However the larf shook out trichs on the dry sift screen like crazy and I got a sweet ball of blonde hash out of the deal.
Drying and curing are a challenge in the summer on Cape Cod. Trying to keep the hay away and the musty at bay. I really need another dehumidifier dedicated to the drying box. The ac install in the 4x8 tent has been terrific. Works like a dream keeping temp and humidity on point. Having the unit inside the tent and vented to the outdoors is the way to go in a basement in New England in the summer.
Anyhow. Happy back to school everybody.

Still pushing out frosty product
Dried and cured Chocolate Chunk
Sticky and dank Indica
This does not smell nearly as strong as the afghan peach, but it is every bit as strong ,and I believe I prefer it; because it produces a great balance of calm and focus. Makes me feel a bit like Clint Eastwood. All business. Also the lack of a super pungency is a selling point for me. The taste and the high are there. Why stink up the place?

I have found some thrip damage and have released nematodes. I’m quite sure they are from my tomato garden. So difficult to keep inside out and vice versa. I have also decided to try Mammoth P in the bed. My summer laziness has caught up with me. I admit I have been extremely lax with ipm and negligent of the garden generally. I want to kick things back into gear, get this little thrip thing behind me and get back to a crowded tent. Summers are hard. So many distractions.

Really enjoyed reading this. I like the method of one large container. Pretty cool.
Thanks Deke. I’m glad you enjoyed reading about my grow. Having this thread and knowing that dudes can look at my garden helps make me less sloppy and lazy.

Grow update: I have taken down a chem-Og leaving a white widow, an afghan peach, and a chocolate Chunk in the bag. I then transplanted a WW and an AP into the bed to start flowering. While pacing around in the soil, I noticed that my last topdress had crusted up on the surface of the soil. I crumbled this up and scratched it around with my fingers and suddenly the bag was alive with fed wiggles worms coming to chew that shit up. It is amazing how well the worms seem to be doing. It has been months since I’ve found one outside the bag, and their numbers seem huge.
I was thinking about letting the bed go fallow for a while and starting things up again once the grow bag was empty, but I am back up to 5 plants in and have decided to truck on.
