Do people still do fractional distillation?
Where the thc is taken off at its particular temperature and the result is very pure red oil?
That was supposed to be how the good red oil in the old days was made.
Can I just use trim for this oil? Not buds but trich covered trim? Id like to get some oil's going this treatment sounds very promising.
More Positive Vibes for Rick ... He inspired me to make my web site and help spread the info on the cure ...
I am making gelcaps now as well, they work great for people that want to ingest their meds..I also use it instead of canna butter in any and all recipes, no hay butter taste at all, totally hidden

Hi
Hopefully you are around and could give me a little help. Im in the UK where there is no medical MJ available.
My girlfreind has been battling a brain tumour for the last 4 years. Has had surgery, radiotherapy & after regrowth that made further surgery impossible , a year of chemo. She tolerated that well so is continuing at the moment. The tumour has stopped growing and she has recouperated somewhat.
I was shown the run from the cure film by a freind last month and since then i have been swallowing up any information i can about producing the medicine & think i am approaching being ready to attempt this. I am a total novice but i need to give this a try. I am going to get on with the gardening whilst learning all i can about the much trickier extraction at the end.
Time is most obviously of the esscence so any words of wisdom you could impart on me would be much appreciated.
How many plants am i likely to need for enough oil. Is butane extraction no good?
Butane is a very good solvent for making extractions from Marijuana. I highly recommend looking into units from Tamisium or Eden Labs.

I'm pretty sure I understand how the Tamisium TE-175/TE-700 works, but I'm not clear on the Eden Labs Coldfinger Professional Unit.
I like that the Eden Labs holds 8oz as opposed to only 2oz that the TE-175 holds for around the same price.
Basically, I'm in the market for one, and after reading several other posts, I thought the TE-175 was the device to get, but now I see the Eden Labs device is competitively priced and holds 6oz more. Is there anything I'm missing here? Is there any advantage to either over the other? Can you or someone please explain?
I wanted to get an account with AIRGAS and go the 99.5% N-Butane route. Can the LP5 tank cylinder (with proper fittings) interface in the same way with the Eden Labs Coldfinger Professional unit as it can with the TE-175?
Please advise. Thanks!
