Caps tea?Don't sweat gnats... They're easy to get rid of. I used dunks with every watering but even better, grab some of Caps tea, ditch the H202. You're plants will go ape shit!
Yes.... i'm good on the teas... may consider dunks. From what I've read though lots of different opinions especially for hydro. Some say it works some claim it didn't help. Shits like talking to auto mechanics most of the time, all kinds of different theories. Did you run dunk in your rez?www.OGbiowar.com

I thought you said ditch the H202? Well that kinda makes sense being I was hand watering with no h202. Just started with this the other day. I'm guessing that's why the nats moved to my humidifier? They' were hanging out in the tank. Between stunted and gnats i'm getting a headacheI did a couple times when I ran cubes. However, I feel like the gnats only came when rot was an issue. After I starting applying H202 with every feed I never saw rot or gnats again. I have also heard GoGnats works well but never personally tried it.
Gotcha...I'm gonna let it ride a few more days if no improvement i'll scrap itDitch the H202 if you start use Tea...No tea then regular doses of H202.
Thanks, but like i stated in the opening post, i ph at 5.5 for 24 hrs and flushed and then soaked again with weak nutes. After seeing one of the blocks have big roots, i'm certain it's from water saturation. Once i added the mini croutons the wicking kept the big blocks very light. Which is why i saw one of the blocks with lots of roots in just a few days. The others may have been so saturated they may not recover. I appreciate the 411!I would first ph rock wool for one hr with 5.8ro water next 200ppms of base with small amount of voodoo n cal mag n ciliakus make Shute light is at 400watts slowly climb on lightage spray messenger .. I'll be ok always check ppm meter. Make shure the new rock wool is ph'd prior to introduction to new slab new slab must be ph'd...

When I was in veg with rockwool I fed VERY light so the cubes were able to dry out quick and the roots ventured out for more media..Little update, roots are finally growing out the bottoms. They're growing kinda funny tho, new growth coming out with single blades??? I wonder if it's from being shocked/saturated? My light is really high, so ima lower it this weekend. Won't be able to post a pic until Monday. Hoping they start to take off. It will be 3 weeks tonight since put in the room. Just did a rez change last night with a little stronger nutes and some silica. Now that their growing into the croutons should see some faster growth!

My big humidifier is up north keeping the outdoor goods fresh. Its way dry up there. Still in veg... no way was i gonna flip before fixing my issues. Without turning my exhaust fan off it's hard to get rh any higher. I just ran this strain about 6 months ago with no issues, so i'm hopeful it was a saturation problem. Hoping to get a stat controller on the next run. I definitely would like to control my stuff better.You're still in veg?
I really think you would benefit from higher RH... I've seen a HUGE difference lately in veg going from 55-60% to 70% with temps around 80F. They're going bananas...

Definitely no way to avoid saturation with that first flush. However once they drink that in I started using Desert Squirrel's method of waiting to water until the TWP (Temporary Wilt Point) and my flood times were very short.That's the inherent problem with media that requires flushing before use: how do you rinse completely without over-saturating? I guess the solution might be a planned drying period before transplant. Next time I prep rockwool I will start with a tap rinse, then soak the cube in plain @ pH 5.5, followed by a rinse/pre-charge with half strength base nutes @ pH 5.8, ending with a period of drying (maybe 12-24 hours)...then the transplant.
I tried the tap rinse for the first time last night. So far so good.
Will do.... pretty much did that, soak/rinse pre charge... over water.... But yes will definitely flush the shit out em next run...I will place on tray and flush without cuts in and make sure to get all the lime stuff out. Will put up a pic on Monday.
