Most def worth it... love this stuff. Transplants recover fast, roots uber healthy, etc... used it only mixed with RO in a bubble cloner with great results and now just use rapid rooters soaked in water/roots excel mix with even better results.

I mix in at 5ml/5g, and thats every plant getting water flower (except flush) and veg....

Haven't had much luck with it in a bubble cloner or dwc system.
I think it's causing slime in my cloner, or atleast feeding the slime or something.
Tried it a few times before and it would pop out bright white roots that would turn brown and start to die off after a few days.

I think it works great in a cloner, but it is definitely messy. If you use RE in a cloner you have to change out the water every 6-7 days or brown slime will start to grow. I stopped using it in the cloner b/c it was too much of a headache. I use it once the clones get transplanted into dirt all the way through week 2 flower. My OG Kush and Sour Diesel finish at about 5ft under 600 watt lights with only 3 weeks of veg. Big roots = big plants=big yields. RE is great stuff. But personally I would never use it in a hydroponic system. It is semi organic and just way too messy for sterile environments.

hmmm. thas odd. real odd..... in fact probably couldnt be further from the truth :P

all i do IS hydro and aero.... excluding my coco medium based mothers.

brown slime will not grow just because you use Roots Excellurator. On the contrary, Roots Excellurator IS the only product on THE market to [safely/gently] rid your roots of pythium/root rot without hurting the plant itself. Sure physan 20 works...but that is the last option aka the NUKE option!!!! lol :boogie:

Brown Slime & dirty reservoirs are indicative of TOO hot reservoir temps, not to mention dirty ass nutes.

I also beg to differ when you say if you use it, it should be changed out every 6-7 days.... I bet you would call me a liar (so ill post pics). I always laugh when folks say that.... cuz for one...i barely even clean my cloner...i mean how dirty could it get? only clones right? I keep RO water in there mixed along with Roots Excellurator and i keep my soup for about 3 weeks.... and i get 3 cycles outta that with each crop/cycle rooting in 3-5 days. im at 100% and have been for a while now (few years..lost count)

this is one of my controller buckets with nutrients (INCLUDING roots excellurator) thas has been in that controller bucket for at least 1.5 weeks. 6-7 days or brown slime will grow? HA! i laugh at that :D

Now....while high temps in hydroponic reservoirs arent ideal....clones on the contrary, prefer warmer temps (think seeds and germination). You water cloner temps should be 72-78F....however with that said....i dont check my temps nor my pH of my cloner. Nor do i try to "control" my temps either. Shit just works, yo.

I used to use clonex cloning solution for my aerocloner, but that shit is just retarded dosage ratio @ 10mL per liter if my memory serves me correct. Fuck that shit, i would almost use up a whole L of the shit for 1 or 2 rounds.

Then i found Roots Excellurator. At 1.1mL per gallon ratios.... thas less than $0.26 cents per gallon of feed water....

Frankly you just cant beat that, especially for the worlds greatest rooting stimulating product

P.S. House & Garden has a big reputation for being some of the cleanest running nutrients AND additives...

:D

also, this is not to bash anybody.... i just seen some misinformation in this here thread and thought i would put my 2cents in seeing that this is a forum community and all :D :afroweed:

res doesnt look dirty/slimey to me :afroweed:

i mean WHY anybody in their right mind NOT use this product (roots excell) in hydro/aero (or any other grow method for that matter) is beyond me :D

dont blv the hype...its only 1mL per gallon, really how much of a headache and/or how DIRTY could ya res get with 1mL per gallon?

confusing? i think not :D

hope this helps clear up a few things

i forgot to mention...

no product/additive/supplement will be a fix for a hot reservoir.

if you are getting brown slime and pythium...there is a problem within your reservoir.

keep those temps in check as using a product like this may only be a bandaid and not a real fix to the problem.

you know the real solution, i dont need to mention chiller (even though i just did) hehe :D

Damn LOUDBLUNTZ.... them roots look amazing... I am using Root Excel in COCO/SOIL ... works amazing... I just transfered from veg to flower after 37 days and a few roots grew out of the bottom of the bag around 10-15 in along the bottom of the trey.... its good to see that it will work w/ aero/hydro systems. After reading some of those posts about slime, i wasnt sure what i would use when i switch mediums because RE is the shit......

I'm running the Humboldt Roots and their entire line also but it's too early for me to give any feedback yet. Glad to hear you like it though. This is my first grow.
