Took these clones Friday 9/29

There's also some Slurricane, Gorilla Glue, and MAC Stomper cuts in there for new mother plants.

Planning on running four of each of the Thousand Oaks, MAC, Flintstones, and Colombian Miracle.

These clones did not turn out well. Not exactly sure why this time. Only got 5/5 MAC, 4/5 Colombian Miracle, 1/5 Flintstones, 1/5 Thousand Oaks. I got the extra MAC and the Flintstones and Thousand Oaks in the mother plant tent for now. I took five clones of each of those strains today. Also took a bunch more clones for some new mother plants. I got one of each of the Gorilla Glue plants to root and a decent amount of the Slurricane clones to root, only the strong survive. I used an organic rooting gel from AutoPot as well as the Azos cube soak and dip before putting it in the rooting gel. We'll see if that makes a difference.

End of week 1 of veg for the MAC and Colombian Miracle clones. Topped three of the MAC plants that were tall enough. I typically like to top plants around the point where they get their 6th node and top down to the 4th node.

These plants are looking great, getting transanted into 3 gal plastic containers tomorrow. Getting clones to root has been a serious problem lately. Hoping to get another 8 plants for this run. I have a lot of clones in the cloner. They're coming up on two weeks in there and I do have plenty of extra plants in the mother tent if I need to add them to this run.

End of week 5 of veg, these plants got transplanted on Monday 11/20 into 3 gal plastic containers. Moved them into the 8×4 veg tent with some other mother plants I transplanted up temporarily. I was gone for a few days mid week and felt like it was necessary.

Decided to add some clones to this run to get 16 plants that are somewhat similar in height. I'm hoping the clones I pick up are a decent size. Picking them up tomorrow from the Maine Clone Company a.k.a. North Atlantic Seed Company a.k.a. Dirty Bird Genetics.

Transplanted the new clones yesterday. All ten clones are super healthy! They'll be getting topped today.

The other smaller one in the 2 gal bag is the strain I'm most excited about. An in house project from Dirty Bird Genetics from two of the best breeders from the West Coast, Dynasty Genetics × Compound Genetics.

End of week 8 of veg, looking like a week too long in these containers. I'm moving towards a shorter veg cycle for future crops.

End of week 9 of veg, planning on transplanting these this week, Merry Christmas!

The Maui Wowie 2.0 clones have caught up to the other plants in this room, vigorous 4 weeks of growth since getting them. Pretty excited to see what that strain does in flower!

End of week 10 of veg, these plants were in the plastic 3 gal containers for too long. A bit of a scheduling mishap on my end and just trying to do too much. I want to maximize the space I have and grow the highest quality flower possible. I think shooting for a 6 week veg cycle is closer to ideal for my current setup. I'm on track as of right now to correct that for the future crops and keep getting a harvest once a month.

Transplanted these up into the 5 gal fabric bags from AutoPot which are very high quality bags. I used 100% Sunshine Mix for this grow. Sprinkled some Mykos around the roots during transplant. They got watered in with a gal of a microbe cocktail I like to give the plants once a week.

I cleaned the entire room, bags, float valves, and reservoirs with a 10% hydrogen peroxide solution allowing everything to soak for at least 24 hours. Rinsed everything with warm soapy water and a rag afterwards. Used a steam mop for the floor of the tent. I learned from mistakes the first grow using this AutoPot system and hopefully we'll have an excellent flower cycle this crop!

Did the major defoliation today, getting 12 hours of rest tonight, day 1 of flower is tomorrow. The Maui Wowie 2.0 plants are super healthy, the other eight are doing alright. Give them a couple nights of 12 hour rest periods and they'll be just fine!

Day 3 of flower yesterday, it's still amazing to me how well the plants respond to this major defoliation. I think it's worth the time it takes to remove most of the fan leaves right before flipping the lights to 12/12.

Thanks, hoping to figure out this autowater system this crop and be able to significantly reduce handwatering time. It's not easy scaling up with this stuff and I'm only taking care of 150 sq ft of flower, 32 plants, have about 100 plants overall alive right now.

Working a full time job on top of it, pulled a 33 hour plow shift for the recent snow storm up here in Maine. Staying committed to the dream of being able to grow cannabis professionally regardless of how tired I may be, I love it!
