Running 6k Bulb At Last 2 Weeks Of Flowering?

I have heard that running a 10k bulb throughout the last 2 weeks of the flowering stage helps to ripen the buds.

I do not have the funds to buy these bulbs, Should I run my 6k Veg bulbs throughout the last 2 weeks as an equivalent?

There is the UV spectrum idea, black light or reptile light. supposedly increases thc.

I used to run Eye Hortilux Blues or Ultra Sun 10K's for the first week or so of 12/12 to keep the plants shorter and the last 10 days of 12/12 as well. I felt it created denser flowers structures in the end. I did not find that the plants finished earlier, but that it did create a better end product.
