Hello everyone

Back at again with hopefully another successful grow diary, and if not I’m sure we will learn something! If you haven’t seen my previous grows, the links are in my signature.

As the title suggests, I will be going another round with the @ViparSpectra KS3000. My last run dealt huge success and hope to have similar or better results and going to push the limit this time.

I will be growing OGKB x Okie by @Trustfall Tenguseed Co. If you haven’t seen the final results, I highly suggest you check out his seed forum.

Full clean down of room is completed. If it doesn’t smell like a hospital room when you walk in, it’s not clean enough

Environment parameters are set and light schedule is set. I’m trying a different timing schedule for seedling & Veg and running a 20/4 schedule instead of 18/6.

Humidity: 71

Water only for now, no nutrients!

Seedling stage - Day 10

New growth is looking great and no lanky stretch. First leaf growth on a couple came out twisted. I’m fairly certain this is caused when the shell is a pain in the ass when coming off, so I don’t worry. Think I’ve got the distance and intensity right where it needs to be.

Humidity: 65-70%
VPD: .8-1.1

Watering/Nutrients:
Happy frog has plenty of nutrients to get me through the seedling stage so still only water for now. I use RO water and start supplementing CalMag when Veg starts.

Seedling Stage Day 12


Watering day - only water, will continue to water until transplant into the Ocean Forest.

Everyone’s adjusted to the KS3000 perfectly and cruising along at this point. May turn the humidifier on in the lung room periodically to get the humidity up just a bit.

Veg day 1

Everyone’s doing great and thriving. Really happy with the progress so far and seem right on track. Going to order my OF on Thursday and hope to be transplanting into 3 gallons by next weekend.

Thanks bruddah! I usually struggle with the seedling stage, I’m always impatient. This time I’ve been too busy to look so I learned to just leave em alone

Veg Day 7
Soil was back ordered but should be here in a few days. Should still be ok, but roots are flying out the bottom and need to transplant asap.

Node structure is really nice on all of them and only one seems to be behind the other 3, but regardless pretty happy with how they’re all looking right now.

Had an issue with one of my controllers and it didn’t turn my humidifier off when the lights when off, and got that corrected.

Watered yesterday with Calmag only and so far so good!

KS3000 is still 18” away and at 40%. Once I transplant I will increase to 50%. Still on 20/4 light cycle.

Environment parameters are 78-80f and 65-72% humidity.

Day 11 Veg -

Transplanted yesterday and they bounced back beautifully! Now to let them bush out, I’m going to start training tomorrow. Going to top and start bushing everyone out and will get some vertical grow before we throw the net on.

So I’ve been thinking of the future, and I would like to eventually find my Diamond in the rough and get better at cloning and run clones directly to flower.

But for now, I haven’t used any other method. My first run at the tent, I ran a month Veg and just used the trellis as support. But over the last couple of grows I’ve been trying to dial more and more on the ScroG and trying to get the most out of my fill in and space.

Last one was pretty good on the fill in, just didn’t get as much stretch as I was hoping for. This time around I’m going to veg a little bit longer after my final tucks before flipping to get that extra vertical growth.

It’s a bold strategy, but it’ll work. Yeah it’s a double edged sword sometimes trying to estimate stretch on a strain you aren’t familiar with. End up with some low flyers or some legit bushes. I can’t remember, did you double trellis?
