Definitely wear a mask it causes lung cancer is the newest findingHowdyDE is diatomaceous earth, which is just crushed algae (diatoms) which is completely safe to use and is food safe. The only precaution is since it is a powder, wear a mask
to prevent inhaling.
I prep my soil will DE, couple handfuls for every gallon and mix it all together. I let my soil sit for 24-48 hours under the light to dry out the soil to prevent any eggs or bugs previously in the soil.
If there are any left, and they hatch they will walk around and hit the DE and it will get on them and rip them inside out. It’s basically fiberglass to them, and kills them naturally but deviously muahha!
I wouldn’t recommend adding it in flower session or late flower due to the extra silica nutrients it provides.
Hope this helps!
Correct, this has been linked to those issues to repeated long exposure. I wouldn’t recommend any powder to be applied on anything without proper respiration.Definitely wear a mask it causes lung cancer is the newest finding![]()

I like your trainingDay 10-
Stretch phase has been really good and most of the tops have reached the second net. The ones in the back of the tent were tied down pretty good so they aren’t stretching as much but they’ll probably get there by the time stretch ends.
