Three weeks is too long in my opinion to go without nutrition. Coco is inert. New seeds can go for a few days, maybe even a week, without anything other than what they have on board. After that, though, they start getting hungry. I pop my seeds in a root riot cube. As soon as they are up, I get them in a cup of coco and start feeding daily on that day. Remember, coco looks like soil, but it’s really hydro. If you went three weeks running your hydro plants on just water, they would be seriously pissed.

Coco does not like to be dry cycled like soil. Small veggers like that at my place get fed to runoff once a day every day. Drying out coco causes it to do all kinds of bullshit you don’t want. PH swings and salt accumulation primarily. If it were me, I would feed them as soon as you are able. No need to wait imo. Just don’t hammer her too hard. It’s way easier to add more in her next feed than to get her adjusted back from over feeding.

This gal is in veg and just got fed. She will get fed again around noon and then again at about six. I think of coco like a store shelf. My job is to keep it stocked with fresh full-strength nutrients at the correct ph. The coco literally just holds her up and holds liquid nutes. If you have your nutrients perfectly dialed to what she is eating, you can basically feed her as many times as you want. Your biggest risk will be throwing away a bunch of nutrients you didn’t have to. You won’t hurt her though.

What size is the pot you have her in currently? If the pot is a little oversized, I’ll show you a quick trick that will help you get your feeding dialed in until she gets big enough.

Cut the top 2 inches off a big solo cup, or other similar sized container. Put the “cuff” over the plant and push the bottom edge just into the coco. When you feed for now, pour your feed inside the solo cup. Feed it until runoff once a day. Once the edges of the canopy get comfortably past the edge of the solo cup, you can still use it as a guide and water around the outside of it. When the canopy reaches the edge of the pot, pull up the cuff, cut it off and water the whole pot. No dry spots. Coco plants shoot out roots fast. Even when they are small, water to runoff so they can grow to the bottom of the container quickly.

Ah should be no problem then. I had a similar issue with my plant (although much further ahead) but it was a combo of overwatering + light too close.

Mine is in a soil, coco, perlite mix though and I was defo overwatering
