The trick to no to overwater is to lift the cup and get a feel on how heavy they are. This is why growsince95 asked if you have a scale so you can measure how heavy the cup is. wet soil is a lot heavier than dry soil. also, don't just dump some water on it thinking this is how you water.

You need to give a bit of water and wait 10 min, than give it a bit more and wait 10 min. you'll notice that the water penetrates faster the 2nd and 3rd round. Make sure you have holes at the bottom of the cups so excessive water can drain.

Also, when you are ready to transplant make sure your soil has 10% additional perlites.

tell us what you are using for soil and nutrients?

I’m using fox farms ocean forest soil and it already has enough nutrients for the first few weeks. I’m also going to be using recharge once a week

FFOF is a hot soil for seedlings. You should start seedlings in (FFHF) and then transplant into FFOF
also FF hold nutrients for 3 months so you don't need to give it any fertilizer or nutrients.

I know. He didn’t know that at first and added extra nutrients

Not sure about ffof, but cocoloco is super hot -runoff is over 3000ppm and seedlings love it.

however, don't just crank the light to 100% now, work them into it and raise the light. Mine just grow at 100% intensity so mine are used to the intensity of the light
Filled soil up in the cup and will slowly be turning up the light over the next couple days. Thoughts on how they look?

they have a nice beautiful green colour to them. make sure your tent humidity is at 65% and keep the temps at around 80f/26c. if you have a small fan turn it on so there is air movement, That will allow the stems to move and get stronger

I have been trying to keep humidifier at a lower level. It’s at 70 right now and sometimes heads up to 75 and the temp is at 75 usually. I have a new exhaust fan I’ll be getting today and I have a hurrican fan with a light breeze over the top of them

your welcome. You can tag me in your diary and i'll come watch over. But the members here are all helpful and full of information.
right on, thanks again. yes, i'm finding that the members here are all extremely helpful. very stoked to have stumbled upon the farm

Do you know how to get better drainage in the red solo cups? I have 5 holes in the bottom of each cup but they’re pretty small @PK1

Add 15-20% perlite. Water correctly, and dont transplant untill they need water daily(about 2-3 weeks) Plants thats start out healthy have a better chance of finishing healthy.
