Sept 1 (or Aug1) 4 X 4 Tent Is Cleaned And Ready

Friday pic. Temps holding steady at 80F. Going through about 8 gallons of solution a week. Humidity ranges from 58 to 62. Lights off temps are 68F. The basement is cool.

Using in order GH nutes silica, calmag, micro, bloom and kool bloom. (1/4/6/9/1 ml per gallon)
PH 6.1 They were tip burning a bit but seem to be calming down. Calmag had to be upped to 4ml to stop the deficiency looking problems on the front left plant. The other 3 did not get it.

Flowers are forming

5 gallons of water since Friday. TDS 1470 PH 6.0 temps holding steady but humidity is higher (plants are getting bigger and respirating water).

Friday pic. 2 weeks since flip. They went through 5 gallons of solution since Tuesday.
Temps 68 at night and now 78 lights on. 60 to 65% RH. I added another fan to keep the leaves blowing around.

Holy eureka moment. The 6 inch filter i have is only 16 inches. My 4 inch cam filter is 22. I am swapping out with a flange and the sour d will smell less and i gain 100 cfm. I can crank the samsung board then and run 570 watts i think.

If i get around.to selling spares i am getting a giant 6 inch can filter.

I had to pop in early this AM. Down 9 gallons of solution since Friday so we are topped up. PH 6.1 TDS 1400 sticking with the lucas formula.

Friday pic. Still trucking along. Now that I can smell the buds the two on the left are sour D and the 2 on the right are Critical mass. I think the SD finaly stoppped stretching.

The critical mass under cobs (2nd pic) is a beautiful colour. Well hell they are all beautiful.

The buds are stacking now. 16 square feet of herb. This is the biggest indoor bud coverage i have had yet.
PH 6.0 TDS 1265 temp 82F lights on 70F lights off RH 45 to 50%.

Getting some light burn. I will figure something out that SD went 4 feet.

9 gallons of lucas solution since Friday. Crazy or what.

PH 6.0 TDS 1350 TEMP LIGHTS ON 82 Lights off 72. RH 45 to 50% with a dehuey.

I went with 12-12 for 2 weeks 11-13 for 2 and now 10.5/13.5 to finish. I do not need density i am trying to shave a week off flower.

The 2 to the left are SD with 2 different phenos ready in 4 weeks or so

The 2 to the right are Critical Mass. Ready in 2 weeks or so

500 watts of LED.

The plants drinking slowed down Only 2 gallons since Tuesday. I turned some lights down a bit as the heat was building. Running at 430 watts until finish which isnt too far away. The dryer tent will be running full bore for a month. Wow do they smell good.

I think the light was too intense and the lucas formula doesnt work for me. They are really slowing down on water uptake and the fan leaves got crispy and burnt. They will be ready to harvest soon anyway and they are a sticky smelly dank bud. I plucked one of each strain to see how it would dry. The trichs are getting milky

It was dry enough to smoke. Wow is it better than my outdoor. Taste and strength are better.

On my next round i will switch to 2 bubble buckets and 2 auto pots to see if i make the jump to an all hydro system. Autopots work ok. My problems are related to jamming too much light in my space.

So i will stick to around 400 watts going forward. the 238 and the 200 watt vero only in the 4 x 4. I think it will be more heat manageable and stop the wicked fox tailing.

Plants were chopped a week ago. I have the biggest SD left to trim but it was still a bit tacky and needs more drying. So far 1 SD was 138 grams and the 2 critical mass were 205g of good buds. And 2 big freezer bags of popcorn and larf for whatever i make out of it.

343 grams and counting (12 oz).

I am at my PB now and that last SD is probably 5 oz. I might pass a pound in my 4 x 4.

Things i learned
1) I am not a big fan of lucas formula GH. I think adjusting the strength throughout the grow cycle produces happier more lush plants

2) too much light can really make shit crispy.

Next round i will run advanced A and B perfect PH because i got it already. Still debating but i have 2 plants to dry before i can take the 4 x 4 down and decide on strain.

Everything looks amazing, those quantum boards and strips really kill it. Did you find that the flower time took longer than expected vs your previous cmh run?

We’re in same spot got a couple to get out the way then I’m considering what mrjiujitsu said. Scrog. To more control my light use. You could keep things lower n train easier I think. That’s what I’m trying for.
