People on here “not all “ but some are pretty rude like they never were new to gardening pretty annoying I think ,I reccomend you tube “build a soil “and all there videosI removed those crappy looking lower leaves this morning, just in case there was a disease. I’m sure the plants won’t mind losing those leaves..
Also, my paranoia about disease stems from the fact that I make my living as an organic farmer. I live in an ultra moist climate so there is an annoying amount of fungal disease pressure all around me. I have a hepa filter on my intake and try to be cognizant about washing my hands and changing clothes before opening the tent. But, scouting for fungal disease is just a very real part of my life around here!
So yeah, while I am ignorant of cannabis symptoms currently, and do certainly hope those spots are just blemishes, working with various potentially infected crops outside keeps me on higher alert.
Flip relatively soon. I’d say 7 days or so.I’m not afraid of maxing out my space, just checking to make sure I’m not gonna end up pushing beyond the hard limits.
I only run trellis if you have 3 accessible sides at all times, otherwise I’d rely on stakes. That’s what my gut was saying..
Would you let all these canopy tops grow out unsupported, thin down the number of tops, or keep the tops but use screens?
Seems like a great plan.Good point about the the 3 sides. Unfortunately I only have one side of the tent to work from. So stakes around the edges, keep all tops and just tie them as needed to not be touching each other?
Heya Rama the girls are looking great just wondering where your RH is at if you decrease your feeds I wonder if they will respond negatively have you started adding silica to them yet it’s great stuff!!This is a couple days after a watering with no nutes. I’m sure they are still finding nutrients from the last feeding and also colonizing the bottom of the pots as well. I assume though that it’s telling me to either totally skip a feeding again, or to lower the dose? No burnt tips. No other issues as far as I can tell. Temps are good, breeze is strong but there’s curling down in spots that the breeze isn’t strong as well. Worth mentioning that I’ve seen this happen on and off throughout almost the entire grow, which does make me wonder if it’s just genetics. Don’t want to mess my babies up!!
Are you able to get your humidity up to 60% ? I would give it a bump and see how they respond. When my outdoor starts are in my room at 60% I take the outside when they’re 35 days old anyhow I can notice when they’re down at 50% they react just like I’m seeing with your girls. Give it a try nothing ventured.. I use 5 T5’s to start about 45 plantsThanks and good questions! I have not added silica, though there is some in the soil. It’s the one thing I’ve been considering adding to my current arsenal. I’ll go ahead and get some. Any recommendations on a brand or is it all kinda the same?
My lights on temps are between 76-80. 90% of the time it’s between 77-78. Leaf surface temperatures are equal or up to 1 degree warmer.
Lights on RH is typically around 50. On cold days when the central heat is running, more like 45. Lights off RH is around 56-62 with 59 being the average. VPD accounting for leaf temps averages around 1.46-1.7 with the lights on and 1-1.5 with lights off.
I have used general hydroponics flora shield SIAre you able to get your humidity up to 60% ? I would give it a bump and see how they respond. Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. I’ve been putting around the firebird today. I would have to agree man. She should settle down with the light getting raised. Although, some taco effect may just be growth and genetic too. Looking good buddy!I just noticed some taco effect as well. I raised the light up 4 or 5” to give them a break for the rest of the light cycle today. They grew a full inch last night.
I’m guessing it was light and wind stress.
