What's the high like from this cross of BBB..? She looks very Sativa dominant and I usually don't care for the high related to a Sativa, especially with my nerve pain.. seems to increase the heart rate and thus, pain levels go up instead of down. Are there maybe diff pheno's and could find an Indica dom from this mix or is that just hoping against hope.. lol.

The one plant showing sex at day #28.. is that an Auto. Seems kind of long time to show sex, but then again, I"m a newbie to Auto's so she could just be on the later end of things.. mine showed at days #15-20.. just wondering how much this varies in the auto world.. thanks for the updates man, sorry to hear about your M8t taking off for a week without notice.. but it sure could of been worse huh? cheers bro..

She does have very thin sativa like fingers, but the effect has been more like an indica so far. I wont be able to tell you how this generation performs until this one is finished and tested.
the previous generations had a severe couchlock body buzz going on. one joint and forget whatever you had planned for the day because it just isn't getting done. It didn't give me much of a cerebral buzz the only effect it had on my mind was it made me play games with myself.

I am sure you have played these games too. like the one where you are watching tv and the commercials come on and you try to remember what you were watching, or the one where you walk into a room and then pat yourself down trying to remember why you came for.

There is a bit more testing to do and I have 3 more BBB growing so I should get a better idea of what I should expect from this generation when they are all done.

If all goes well then I should have fem seeds produced for July.

Yes she is an auto, she has been under 20hrs of light everyday so definitely an true auto. Most of my strains show sex by 21 days old but the ones bred to be large show around 28 days, giving them an extra week of veg time to increase size and yield.

This has all been some really helpful info! One question i had was how would you extend the veg process in an auto?

You really can't, it's in the plants genetics.. it does what it does and there is no stopping it. A big reason why they don't suggest you top these specific plants or clone them either.. they won't recover from the topping but just keep growing so pretty much you've stunted it and just screwed it up.. clones keep growing at the rate the mom you took them from so again, not worth the trouble.. a big reason why so many Auto's are offered in Feminized seeds I think, so you guaranteed a girl like in cloning.. Seraphim is starting a thread here teaching us how to do this yourself and get all girls from you plants.. check that out.. If your looking for size, you just have to research large Auto's versus smaller ones like they were originally made to be.. but this next generation of AF strains size is so much better... 3-4ft is a big auto.. tie that plant down like Seraphim shows and yields can be increased just like vegging longer.. check it out and good luck..

Time to show you how the girls are doing. They are all recovering but the BBB is recovering the slowest. The others bounced back nicely.

Let me start by showing you the new addition. Here is Big Daddy at 5 days old.

This is the Purple I was working on but I am disappointed in this one so far. She is tall and skinny so got some LST to try and force some branching. I may need to go back to the drawing board on this one, work is definitely needed.

This one is the Sweet Talker at 34 days old.

She was getting a bit tall so she got some LST

This one is the small Special Reserve at 34 days old. I am amazed at how well she has recovered from her bad start she went from this

To this

This one is the British Blue Blood, she is recovering slowly. She hasn't regained her colour as quickly as the others but she is on the way to recovery and smelling delicious so I cant complain. Right now she is giving off a blueberry candy smell that has me drooling every time I get her out.

@Seraphim19 Looking killa, here's my vertigo around week 5-6. I've noticed the newer leafs are thin and looking like their curling under, heat is stable around 72-75 degrees with rh around 50-55 . Just feed with general organics bloom mix yesterday. She's been good until now, not sure if anything is even wrong, would just like another opinion . Thanks to all input.

Cool, no flipping being auto but I gotcha.going on around 2nd- 3rd week flowering, just transitioned over to bloom feed. I did the 3/4 veg-- 1/4 bloom... Then next 1/2 veg--1/2 bloom.. This time was 3/4 bloom--1/4 veg with (5ml cal/mag, 5 ml bio/root, 2.5ml bio/weed and 7ml bio/marine ) all feedings. And BAMM

Wheeew, good to hear it's not just me who looks for his sunglasses for an hour, only to find them on his head. LOL.. yup, we've all had them stoned moments huh? ya just hope you notice it before someone points them out on yur head huh.... he.
Ya know, I figured that was about the only way to increase yields on Auto's was to find plants that showed sex as late as possible giving them longer to veg, thus...well you know. glad to see that BBB bouncing back ok.. she sure does have a nice structure to her.. was sure hoping to get to try it but not this time.. ON with the show M8t

Things are starting to get interesting now, as the smell, buds and the trics start to develop I am enjoying these plants more and more.

There have been a couple of developments in the past week. the first one was that I killed the purple as it was far below acceptable standards for my strains. it was tall with practically no branching and looked like it would have a very low yield. So it had to go! I will go back to the drawing board on a purple strain.

I also took my eye off the ball and let one of the plants grow into the light and bleach itself, as you will see.

I have added plants to the grow room to keep a rotation going and keep this as a perpetual grow.

Let me show you the girls, I will go from youngest to oldest

First up is a new addition. This is a Russian Dragon crossed with Think Different. She is a week old

This one is Big Daddy, she is 12 days old now

This one is Sweet Talker, she is days old. you can see where she suffered and where she has recovered and regained her colour and vigour.

This one is Special Reserve, she is 41 days old. This is the plant that grew into the light and you can see the bleaching on the branch at the top of the pic. She has rebelled against the LST and stretched quite a bit.

This one is British Blue Blood, she is slowly getting her colour back. the buds are starting to properly develop now and the trics are starting to appear. Good times ahead!

And just for good measure here are a couple of shots of buds close up.
This is the central cola

And this is one of the outer colas

Update time again!

Things are progressing well now the only thing that I have been disappointed about this week is that the special reserve that made a marvellous recovery decided that she was going to commit suicide. Despite my best efforts to tie her down she still grew into the light and bleached herself so badly that she had to go. Not to worry though as I have put down more special reserve to replace her so you will still get to see the strain in action and hopefully she wont suffer early in life this time.

Ok lets get to the girls

First up is The Russian Dragon x Think Different, this one has got me excited. Its the only one that is not one of my strains so I don't know what to expect, so far she is looking good.

This one is my Big Daddy, I just love the wide fingered indica leaves on this girl

This is my Sweet Talker, She is smelling just like candy floss now

And finally the British Blue Blood, she is beginning to swell up now and the first of the brown hairs are creeping in

Great thread seraphim . bloo bloods looking good . you did well to pull it back . It's a pain in the arse when there's a problem when growing autos that slows or stops growth for a while coz while its not growing your thinking "ah fuck, this is really going to affect the yeild". But it doesn't seem to have affected the BBB yeild.
