maybe i missed it, didn't read all 28 pages, but don't you have to mix the gaia green into the top inch or so of soil before you water?
i'm in no way questioning you at all, i just thought you were supposed to do that.

I usually pre-mix the GG with some soil before it gets top dressed, but I've also done it directly on to the top and just watered it in as well. Hasn't broke a plant yet but I'm no expert on the stuff either just a guy who uses it :)

@PrimoClonesCanada thank you for the moral support as usual! lol...might need to invent some kinda 3D printed bud-brace system cause this is getting ridiculous no matter what I do.

@dean1963 I don't do anything special that isn't in this little simple guide that I wrote here! I hope that if I can figure it out that there is hope for most of you guys and gals here at least 🧙‍♂️

Ahhh Veronica, I rooted for you from the beginning and you didn’t disappoint. Great stuff as always brother, been trying to play catch up and your diary is always a great read!

I know how it is! Can get overwhelming at times 🤣 I always miss peoples updates and then I'm having to manually search threads to go back and I see pages of stuff I've missed.

You were 100% right on your pick though brotha Veronica was a gem 🤙

Still waiting for the 4x4 and one of the closet plants to finish up! Hopefully they are ready by this weekend so that I can tear everything down and spend a couple days deep cleaning, assembling the 5x10, getting all my lights sorted out and hung, move the grape god and desert eagle plants into their new homes and then get everything cut and dry for the Grove Bag cure.

Veronica yielded about 8 1/4oz. I expect to get a similar pull from Betty based on size and if I didn't cull Cheryl I would have probably anticipated to get 20~ oz from the closet alone this run 🤦🏻‍♂️

GG & DE. They had been growing with 0 nutrients until about three days ago. Funny enough literally the DAY after transplanting & feeding I woke up to one of the DE looking like this. This picture is a couple days later but looks like a mag def took hold over night and she's just now starting to bounce back/eat some food. Plants are funny 😂

3~ weeks surviving on cotyledons alone

Mornin @Shaded_One !
New tents ey? I’m happy for ya. Straight up gorgeous plants! I just finished jarring the last of my grow, got all the tents clean and ready to rock again and will be setting them today.
A fine thing to be doing on an icy Mo. day. We are at a complete stand still here, it’s solid ice. Kind of days I really like, cause I know no one can get back here. I just got electric and my internet back in time for round two.
A big pot of chili simmering and pretty green plants to play with..all is good in the woods hood 🙂

Morning CG! Yep and now I might consider running 2 large-single-plant-SCROGS-CannaGranny-style 🧙‍♂️ you've inspired a small cult on this forum. You get a lot of sympathy from us frost dwelling, igloo living Canadians. Aside from the rough week you've had it sounds like you are finding a little slice of peace to enjoy which is what life is about hey? Finding that slice 🤣

Looks like were both starting the next round at the same time! How far along are your new gals?

DM for address to send chili 🍲

That’s an amazing pull of weight man, very well done! And looking great on the new ones, you caught the def in time. Crazy how fast it happens 😂

SCROG yields are no joke. I am officially a full convert to Cult CG!

The first time I saw an old grower scrog, I thought he was nuts! When I helped him harvest and we did a weight count on just a single plant, I was sold! Been scrogging about 12 years now. My process has grown by lollypopping double topping and Fimming this took the crop from double to quadruple. As a normal indoor grower I want the most I can pull for the real estate it uses. Don’t we all?
I see it worked well for you, like an ole pro! I’ll post pics for ya this eve of what I have going on!

This Lady is going to flower now. She is about to outgrow me and already fills a four by four prior to the stretch. This was a top that I cut off of this plant when I went to flower the last time. I have cut her way back several times, but she just keeps gaining on me. This is Chocolate Mimosa with a super super heavy tangerine smell. I’ll be opening up an old grow space in the closet for her!

This will be my new scrog grow. I popped these three weeks ago, they have had the first toppings at node four. I plan on running three in the five by five and running the Runtz Wreck in the four by as it’s known to be a huge genetic.
Next will be the second topping, followed a couple of weeks later by Fimming. These will be on scrog in about three to four weeks.
Today, I pop a new round so that it’s ready to go in when these come out. I got off schedule being sick and am just now recovering the roll.
Hit me up about Fimming and we can add a few more zips to your take 🥰

I believe it! I've always enjoyed topping my plants but never had I attempted to SCROG. I'm only 1/3 plants down but I can already tell this is going to become a standard practice of mine moving forward. Now I just need to design and build some "mobile" scrog pots for my closet, or at least something independent for each section. I remember seeing some cool SCROG pot on wheels on this site from a user. If I remember I think I topped the plant in the 4x4 twice this go around with no FIMMING. Do you FIM all the tops at a certain week or veg or what?

Lovely looking plantaloons! I'm a little miffed about your top clone being ready to flower, but at least my new girls are at about the same stage as your new girls. Maybe I will also take your advice and pop some beans for the next run once I'm done with the chop/clean/5x10 build/get plants established. This will be the year that I work towards getting perpetually setup.

Mornin Mister!
In answer to your question, after my second topping at node two or three on the new growth from topping at node four I allow them to gain six to eight inches of height over the height of my scrog table. My table stands at 24”. It has legs but I lower it via frogs from the top. Reduces damage and allows for a spreading of the plant to open it.
Just prior to putting them under the table I fim every top that’s large enough to see enough to fim. This does two important things. One it gives you three top sites instead of one and two it takes away all of the plants need to super feed etc the main cola, by passing a lot of other nice flowers. This equals the playing field, and straight up triples the amount of top or main colas.
Clear as mud?
In answer about my top clone, I took her just before I went to flower this last harvest. So she has some age on her, and she grew like a house on fire! I literally have cut her in half and she’s still full steam ahead!
Normally, with my grow rolling as soon as I go to flower, I pop a new set and they are ready or very close as soon as I harvest. I just clean up, reset my tents and we’re off again to another harvest in 10-14 weeks.
I won’t actually go to flower in my tents for another four or so weeks, I just got an opportunity to move them from my veg room into the tents where they can throw down and do some growing. Since this reopens my veg space room I’ll take this opportunity to pop some more! 🥰

I usually do heavy LST but thought SCROG would be the best way to finish this time. But after seeing Aqua Man’s setup with golf balls I might try that on my clones after transplanting. I like the SCROG but hate that I can’t get to the back of the plant to clean up or groom. But being able to spin the pot with clips and wires in place might be a better fit. We’ll see...

A few places sell wheel platforms for buckets or plants. Easy to make too. Just get BIG wheels if rolling on carpet.

If it’s just for tending the plants in the tent try the golf ball idea. Used ones from a driving range used to be cheap.
