The boat is the Intrepid. The pic of the Alijos rocks was taken on my first 10 day long range trip on the Royal Polaris. Been on the Independence too. I liked the Intrepid best but I also had 6 cows up to #237 the one in the pic is #202. Had few under #200 as well. It was truely the trip of a life time. Doubt I will ever get 6 cows in one trip again.

Here is one of our fishing boat and of our sailboat

Ive been fishing the RP for years, also the rooster and vagabond.I have a 23 CC that i fish/spearfish the local islands with, small world.Ive known most of the skippers in the long range fleet since they were deckies!Judging by the salmon pics ill guess your up by monterey bay or north as their wasnt much of a run in ventura last year.

Looks sharp...1st ticket let us know, on my hot rod 1 week.......179 bucks 70 in a 55
Oh, shit...! Last three times I've been pulled over I was let go, one time they were laughing their asses off at me (in Puerto Rico, I can play *really* dumb). You've jinxed me!

Sea,Dont let them fool you with using good fuel, burn the cheapest you can get, lol,im SERIOUS.Ive owned a few of em,currently a 2004 s60 t5 with over 100k,just getting broke in,my buddy has an older square one with 400,000 and still going all on regular.Change the oil every 5k and find a good VOLVO mechanic to check it out every 12-18 mos.
Dave's probably going to be the one doing most of the work. He's pretty good with these things. The guy who sold it to us said he does a lot of work on European models, though we don't know him from anything other than buying the car, he's known to a coworker of Dave's.

Use the cheap-cheap, eh...?

Yes,use the cheap stuff sea, makes no difference at all so keep your money in your pocket,my buddy with 400k uses am/pm regular since he bought the car with 125k.Im a pretty good wrench, ive been building engines forever but i dont know shit about all the new electronic stuff so i leave the big stuff to my volvo guy, only real problem ive had with this car was a bearing went out in the a/c compressor last year and i had to buy the whole damn thing for 800 buckso_Obut hey its paid off.

First thing I did was purchase the service manual, diagnostic scanner, and Volvo VADIS software in order to diagnose problems, and update/modify/replace "active" components.

My fun is my work too. I am one of those crazy horse gals, but these days it seems like I am the one doing all the work, and the horses are the ones having fun galavanting around in their pastures LOL. At one point I was riding horses for work and riding my horses for fun, I do farrier work, and have a small horse boarding stable. I LOVE sharing pictures of my beautiful horses, but of course that would be way too identifying to do so here :( I also raise nigerian dwarf goats goats. They are SO cute! Again, wish I could share photos of them LOL.

You do your own farrier work..? Back-breaker, but if you're good, talk about a money-saver!

Former horse-shower, Class A Arabian circuit, Regions I & II.

Money saver and money maker! I average about $65 an hour as a farrier :) I must have a hell strong back because it kills my elbows most of all.

You must have ridden some really fancy horses! I havnt done any real showing since I was just a kid, I do miss it. I don't have the skills or a trainer right now, so no showing for me. Its ok though, I can't freaken afford it anyway Lol!

Goat hoof trimmin sucks, but I do it without bloodshed. Worse are the clippers if not careful they willl pinch ya resulting in a good bloodblister...20 bucks eack for farrier, 35 goats save a lot...Trim and copper bolice 3 times yearly....

Ah yes, goat hoof trimming! I forgot that is part of my "fun" now LOL! I don't have a stanchion, and havnt been able to flip and hold them like I was shown, so its a 2 person job for me, one to hold and one to trim. 35 is quite the herd! I only have a few does. Prior to getting them, I was thinking that doing goat feet would be similar to horse feet. NOPE! Lol. I think it did help to have a feel for trimming just in general though. I can't remember what brand of nippers I got, but they are nice and easy to use :)

I have yet to copper bolus. The grain I feed is fairly high in copper, and has no iron (its a senior horse feed, only a couple dollars more than the goat chow), and I feed a treat that has copper also. I hear that goats need a TON of copper, but my vet brought me a goat book that says they only need 10 ppm in their diet, and that mine are getting more than enough. My doe with a lot of black doesn't have any red tints, and the one doe that was pregnant kidded just fine, so I hope that they are good!

Bad year so far for us 2 does had 3 kids all died at birth never has this happen feel bad.
We feed all grass hay and chow only when milking, corn, oats, and sunflower seed.
Have you heard of ....http://www.abcplus.biz/

Sorry to hear about the bad kidding, chickenman. I've been witness and party to some horrible foalings, I know how that sort of thing feels. More than I'd like to count!

Damn, that's pretty good, especially if it's not killing your back. Do you do equine dentistry as well? I've been reading a good bit about it lately and think back on some horses we've had, how it was done, etc. Seems the art is coming out of the dark ages.

I started out really small with a killer Welsh pony. I say killer because at any opportunity, Gypsy would scrape you off her back. Moved on to an Appendix registered Quarter Horse mare, who had to be put down, and I think that's why my mother indulged me with the first Arab gelding, who was nothing to write home about but had such a sweet temper and especially loved children. His name was Barney (short for Barna-B-Gazi, he was a Polish Arabian with iron sides and pretty much nothing in terms of hot bloodedness) and he was just that--a real Barney. I did have one very good horse, but he was a stallion so he stayed at the trainer's. I made Nationals with him, but didn't place, and shortly afterward I got married, then divorced, and a whole buncha crap led to me never having my own horse again.

Now? There's just no way I could do it, although lots of people have been trying to give me rescued horses. We do live on zoned property, but I just can't do a horse.

You have to be a veterinarian to do equine dentistry in my state, and I totally don't have the stomach, time, grades, or money for vet school LOL.

What about an old rescue pony mare? I have one I would give you, she does just fine on her own :D

Chickenman, I meant to give my condolences on the losses of kids this year too. Do you have any ideas why? I was so worried my doe was going to have a hard birth because I didn't think she was pregnant, so I didn't give her any extra supplements or anything, but she had a perfect birth, and her baby has been extremely vivacious, so clearly I am pretty good on my feed plan as it is, and that is nice to know!

A few quick pics of suzie the cockatiel, tina the lovebird, and shelly the tortoise.Confused because she humps a large empty food can she likes to play with like a bloke!!

e4, I've seen a lot of psittacines (hookbills) masturbate. My husband's maroon-fronted conure used to work himself up into a real lather with this little mirror toy thing.

Thatgirl, I can't handle feeding, keeping corrals cleaned, etc. After my attack I have decided to get a GSD or similar to be trained in Schutzhund (protection) and that's going to take up most of my 'animal' time for the foreseeable future.
