Should i be worried ?

Hey guys , so I am just wondering if any of you have ever encountered this and if so what was causing the issue for you ? It started with just curling, now the curled tips are going yellow..are they overfed ? I went ahead and gave them some Ph'd water until decent runoff.

perhaps too close to the light? The hottest leaf temps I was getting were 27 celcius right under the lights and that was when my tent was way hotter than it is now.. fall is in the air here and the tent temps are down to 22-25 during lights on..humidity steady at 40-45. I really dont want whatever it is causing this to get worse and snowball into something catastrophic that could throw my yield off in the last few weeks .. also, its not just the leaves closest to the light that are affected.

I would say it is either an excess of P or K, as the temp range isn't too extreme IMO. What are you feeding them and what are you growing in? Your temps and humidity sound OK, which leaves Ph and nutrients as the likely cause. Checking the Ph or the PPM/EC of your runoff should provide a wealth of information if you have the hardware.

are they overfed ?
Have you changed the feeding recently? Did you use a "booster?"If it were me, I would feed half-strength with enough volume for 100% runoff. They don't look underfed. So, I don't think it would be the wrong thing to do. If it's a ph issue, that's often a byproduct of overfeeding (with not enough runoff, salt buildup). I'd bet in that direction.

i transitioned into what is referred to by the feeding chart as "late flower" which involved an increase in the base bloom, nutrient, and a reduction in the bloom booster. looking back i think i may have been feeding a bit too aggressively, it has been around 1200ppm , but i have been skipping water only days alot.. i flushed them out pretty good with some ph balanced water around 6 probably according to the GH testing liquid.. i need a digital meter for better accuracy i know.. they are coming to the end of their life anyways.. starting to see some amber trichs.. just gonna drop ppm to 400 or so probably ? is that the norm now ? flushing with low ppm ?

1200ppm nutrient solution sounds strong for soil. What are you feeding? (How much of each bottle?).

Looks overfed for sure. Given they look to only have a few weeks left, If they were mine I'd rinse the pots with 1ec solution then feed just water till the end.

its not soil, its like 30 percent perlite and 70 percent pro mix HP. is 1200 still high ? i hear of people feeding up to 1800 sometimes which seems insane. cause i am feeding full strength according to manufacturer ( emerald harvest) . and its still max 900 ppm or so, the other 300 being my tap water.. which i am unaware of the analysis. in that..

and yes i think its water only time for all three from here on out.... i am only seeing amber on one, but the others wont be far behind im sure .. any tips on flushing ??? just ph'd water ??? any tricks to crank out a bit more thc ?

Are you using the 500 or 700 scale on your ppm pen? I prefer ec to avoid confusion...

Either way seems high. I rarely ever need to go over 700 ppm total, sometimes 800 but only during stretch. That's on the 500 scale.

im not sure about the scale.. :0 let me go investigate. didnt realize it functioned in multiple scales? it has an ec mode on it i know, but im not really familiar with ec and its relation to ppm.. how amature i know lol

i would also like note i wasnt always going full strength, i was pretty conservative for the most part throughout i think, usually went about half strength. just kinda ramped it near the end of flower cause i thought i was under feeding perhaps haha.. lessons learned.. the trials and tribulations of a novice grower hahaha.. i appreciate the feedback BTW guys, thanks for the advice

they all read ec and convert that number Ito a ppm reading. 500 is based on NaCl and 700 is based on Kcl.

1ec = 500ppm on the 500 scale
1ec = 700ppm on the 700 scale.

Causes a lot of confusion in groups with members around the world as I think Europe uses the 700 scale commonly whereas NA normally uses the 500 scale.

Also when using promix, never skip the water only feedings. Monitor runoff ppm and when it starts to climb 0.2 -0.3 ec higher than the input feed rate, it's time for a water only feed. For me it works out to every third watering.

okay, thank you for the tip. that is very valuable information for me as i plan to continue using promix. so any ways that i can help increase my success rate is awesome!
