So this is my first proper indoor grow.....bits and pieces are a bit getto for now.
I have 2 plants that I flipped on the 26th, vegged for 5 weeks.
They came from 3 bagseeds that where germed about nov 15...2 weeks old here...only 2 made it.
I have seperate veg/bloom areas. Veg is an aquarium; that is covered on the inside with the xtra mylar from the grow tent base liner (4x4). 3x20watt 6500k 1200lm cfls.
Bloom is a 4x4x6.5 tent with 300watt cheapy china made led and 2x20wwatt 2700k 1200lm....i know i need better lights; ah yes hopefully soon when budget allows.

The plants i'll call satay & indie were both transplanted into 10L/2.5gallon pots on the dec 24th @ that time gave them a lite defol, flushed with 2L of tap water each (h2o was left 24hr b4) then fed full strength Baby Bio & finished with some lst...

The 2 seedlings are AK48 and the other little champ is Northern Lights, fem from nirvana. AK germed on the 18th. The NL germ on the 8th, and topped on the 27th.

That's it for now - questions, comments, and concerns are always welcome.

Good on you for utilizing the sun in the window, can't replicate the sun if you had a Meter to measure you photosynthetic light you would have them there every day :)

Thanks Canalchemist....yes that eastern facing sill got lovely warm bright rays, nothing beats nature:cool:...sadly security became an issue as they got bigger.

Two days in flower and satay has pistals all over, yippee, will take pics tomo.
In veg -
transplanted the NL, she was so ready and gave 3/4 str feed.

Cheers.

Happy New Year!...
I have roots showing at the bottom of the pots, wondering if i should go to a bigger size, is it ok to transplant in bloom.....
They r 1 week since last tp. And speaking of transplanting i didn't do a great job on the NL half the soil is missing ⊙_°
some lst and a couple branches where supercropped on Indie who is not showing sex yet.
Anywho some pics. Indie on top.

Till next time cheers.

Happy new year to you and yours as well, nice shiny green going on there brother.

Well it looks like Indie is a boy...<wipes small tear from the corner of her eye>....

Silly me went counting chickens....@ least the NL & AK48 are fems...and can't forget Satay, really like the structure she has going...will post pics later today.

Well all may not be lost, if you can isolate Indie and collect some pollen you can do a selective pollination you could continue him in seed form.

Well i could put him in another room, haven't killed him yet....the whole collecting pollen thing seems a bit advanced to me at this pointo_O

Photo time...

Added some more cfls, 2x35watt warm 2200lm each.
Ordered bio bizz grow, bloom & top max, best i can get atm.
Would love to do super soil at some point, am big on the organics.

Cheers

Collecting pollen is super easy, you just need to keep him isolated, and on the exact same light schedule as he is on now, acclimatize him to an area under a Clamp light CFL and a cheap timer, wait till you see his nuts opening and gently lay down some cardboard or paper to catch the pollen. I can help you a bit on how to do a selective pollination all you need is a small paintbrush and a separate area away from your flowering tent for a few hours.

It's been a few so figured I'd update.
Yesterday everyone got new homes; roots busting out all over...the girl in flower had 4 thick fuzzy ones that are 8 inches long! Whatever way the pot sits on the saucer there was a gap between and the roots were acting like it was hydro or something drinking up the little runoff that was to be had.
Anywho picture time
I have officially changed Satay's name to The Baglady for 3 reasons
1 ~ she's bag seed
2 ~ she turned out to be a lady
And 3 ...
Image

Her new home, diy fabric pot at least 2x bigger. And from above
Image

The NL at 4 weeks...was a nice tree shape, that was before a little pinching and bending
Image

Image

Finally my toddlers, the AK's at 3 weeks not great pics but u get the idea
Image

I will give one of the AK's a proper topping in the next while and continue to veg the NL another couple weeks. Will wait and see how they take the transplant, and let them tell me what's what.

Til next time.

Cheers Az....I forgot about super thrive, suppose to help with stress. Will double check that; plus I think may have some at the folks place. :)

NL singing "my mama tried to supercrop me and I said No No No"

Love how this strain can take a beating. When she was days old tried to decapitate her by dropping a light on her; thought dead for sure but went ahead and gently propped up the cotyledons with toothpicks....u can kinda see the knuckle that developed in this pic.
Image

I really have made quite a few silly mistakes, left the flower lights on an extra hour (twice), overwatered in the beginning and did this a couple nights ago...
Image

don't worry it's just Indie my bagseed that turned out to be a boy. I did confine him to a cabinet downstairs and this happens when u try to pick up one handed and the cheap plastic pot cracks...not too clever. Haha I scooped him up the best I could and would u believe he is still kicking.
Kinda like the idea of tinkering with pollen, especially since I have only 1 NL fem seed left and 2 bagseeds.
Anywho a parting shot from the tent, NL goes in during lights on cuz she is getting to big for the veg area. Will have a think on making more room in there or just flip her, she is 34 days from seed if i recall correctly.
Image

Also thank you all for the likes, makes me:D

I really enjoy coming back to your thread, it's really cool, lots of Pictures, descriptions, I got to see your foot ;). you will find the plant can withstand a lot and sometimes a little stress at the right times can actually benefit the plant, that's what we capitalize on when we do LST, when you bend the branch the plant send in the Paramedics to repair the branch and bring a lot of goodies along with them.

Cheers your doing well
