Slurricane phenohunt, frostiest flower wins!

End of week 6 of flower, decided to finally set up two trellises. Some flowers were starting to fall over already.

I'm gonna harvest these plants tomorrow. There's more than half the room that's ready for harvest, checked today with my microscope. Quite different looking strains from the two different breeders. Not sure whichis best as of right now. We'll see what the finished product is like. These are my two favorites, one from each breeder.

This phenohunt was an enlightening experience. It is incredibly important to phenohunt these seed packs to find keeper plants or honestly don't even waste your money if you can't do the phenohunts. Get a high quality clone that's been phenohunted for you for the same price as a pack of seeds in most cases. There's two guys on this forum that have great selections if there's no nursery close enough to pick up in person, @ImpulsiveGrower and @Trustfall

These two flowers were one of each from the "same" parent plants from different breeders. They also respectively didn't look anything like the other five plants from the same breeder.

I'm thinking about keeping both around and calling the purple flower from Purple City Genetics Dosi Punch and the super frosty flower from In House Genetics Slurricane. That right flower was from the #5 plant that yielded 2 oz and the left flower is the #9 plant that yielded 3 oz. These were the stickiest flowers I've trimmed so far. I will get some cool microscope pics posted tomorrow.

Thanks! That #5 purple Dosi Punch plant is exceptional and the complex spicy berry terpene profile is so good! Looking forward to seeing how different the #5 & #9 phenos are in a vape and a J. Planning on producing some concentrates as well.
