BTI is also the active ingredient in mosquito dunks.
No! Spinosad came from rum barrels...i think it was rum..lolbacillus thuringiensis israelensis BTI
The same bacteria that's in gnatrol. They discovered it growing in old whiskey barrels on some island and have been using it to kill gnat larvae since.
How they grow it or found out it kills gnat larvae I have no idea.
That's correct, got my pest control facts mixed up lolNo! Spinosad came from rum barrels...i think it was rum..lol
Well I did not imagine such a thing, I cleaned the surface of the soil and I did what you said, now the gnats don't seem very interested in my pots anymore, thanks! You need to take care of those gnats as there larva will eat your roots. Put yellow sticky traps down and put an inch or two of perlite on the top of your soil. The larva come out of the soil as adults and try to go through the perlite and will gets micro cuts that causes them to bleed out.
I think i have never had potassium deficiency, if it happens i will increase it, however using potassium soap almost every week on leaves and soil I think it's actually more than 1%3-1-1 and added 1.1 N 4.1-1-1?
Is that enough K?
