That is grow preference. If you like a different spectrum, then use a different light. That doesn't make the light worse.

You asked why it yields less. Other than less watts less red will hurt yields.

Dont ask a question if you dont want the answer.

I yeild 1.5 g/w with an SF 2000 without even trying. I am in the process of trying to pull a pound out of one. I may not succeed but it will be damn close. And that's on 1 plant. Check my threads. Not 1 person here shitting on these products has ever used one of these products... that should be all you need to know.

Shut this shit show down already. It's the same 4 trolls on every SF thread. It's so fucking old already. You all just say the same 3 things over and over again. Just sit back and watch us grow nice flowers and STFU

Where did you come with that?

Why are all these universities and space programs studying light spectrums?
I believe doctor Bruce Bugbee figured out that spectrum has a big effect on plant morphology but actually dry weight/yield was relatively unaffected

Dr. Bruce Bugbee.

They are helping to prove that spectrum has influence on how plants grow. I think that's pretty helpful knowledge.

No proper ratio of red and far red signifigantly improved growth speed and yield.

probably why hlg’s new spectrum is so much more red heavy. Even Mars is putting osram reds in their upscale lamps and trying to market commercial.

In his toward optimal spectral quality video?

This is the first sf thread I have posted on if you are referring to me.

I would agree the far red 660nm+ On spider farmers I run are insufficient. I added 30min sunrise and 30min sunset red simulation on last run. Girls seemed to love it.

Is that a ir camera?

Not with cannabis.

if you say so. You should read the builders threads at the other website in the led section and the comparison stuff instead of assuming. You are years behind on this stuff.
