Whats up farmers. I want to begin by properly introducing myself. I have been on the site for a while but mostly doing research and learning from alot of great growers on this forum. This is my first actual thread here with you guys. I have been on RIU for a while now and have like 4 grows documented on there. But anyways, I consider myself a skilled grower and would be happy to help anyone out with any questions or concerns.
I have always been a soil grower and I have down a couple DWC grows. I had heard alot of great things about coco so I decided to give it a try and since I was put on I have continued growing with coco. This is my third run in coco, never straight up coco I had previously mixed it with chunky coarse perlite.
The first time I mixed 80% perlite and 20% coco in hempys, I was inspired by MrDizzle who I consider a badass and respect. The crop turned out great but I was slaving myself hand watering like crazy. The next crop I ran 50/50 in hempys and smart pots like a side by side run. The end results were awesome and I didnt have to water as much. The only bad thing I was doing when I first started was treating the coco like soil that was my big mistake went through def and lockout it was a pain in the ass but now I pretty much have it figured out and have high hopes for this one.
This run I am going with 4 monster trees in a 12 x 10 room with 2 vertical 1000's inline, like one right on top of the other in cool tubes for veg. My plan is to hopefully be able to throw 4 more 1000's when I begin flowering, we will see how this turns out. I really like the idea of running the light one right on top of the other so the trees can get equal amount of light on bottom, mid, and top of the trees. It is very important with trees that those bottoms get alot of light.
Im going to be growing Sour Diesel, Jack Herer (Sativa Pheno), Giesel, and ChemDog this time around. I am using Just Coir Coco70% with Hydroton at 30% (Chow Mix). I am hand feeding once a day right now with this mix and loving it. I will be converting shortly to a drip system of some sort but dont have it figured out yet, I have different ideas. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to add. My nute line up is GH Flora Nova Grow and Bloom, Floralicious Plus, Flora Blend, Liquid Kool Bloom, MOAB, GreatWhite, Silica, Calmag.

Till then please feel free to comment or ask any questions I think this pretty much covers everything, wait no I did not mention CO2 and cooling and ventilation.
