You’re right—the reservoir makes refilling much easier and is ideal for most growers. We understand the benefit of being able to customize nutrients for individual plants, but as you mentioned, 99% of the time, having the same dose works just fine. I do like the design of the Spider Farmer system better, would pull my ACI Bases right out of my tent to run the Spider Farmer bases!
The ACI Bases you fill individually, the Spider Farmer system has a reservoir. Filling would be much easier with the Spider Farmer system, the only advantage I see with the ACI Bases is the ability to put different nutrient doses in each base, Spider Farmer system would feed the same dose to all plants.
99% of the time my plants in the same tent take the same dose anyways.
If they're not in my Blackberry Auto/SE4500 diary by then end of the run, they will be in there for the next grow!

Love my 1000d, put my leggy saliva under it and dial it down when it gets too close.
