Great looking space and organization.Greetings to my fellow Spider Farmer aficionados. I am joining the party rather late, since it was only a couple of weeks ago that I bought four Spider Farmer SF1000 LED lights to illuminate my grow room, where ten pots sit in two staggered rows on a floor-space measuring 10 feet by 3 feet.
The lights are connected through timers that toggle on just two lights at a time for one hour, before powering those two off, and lighting the other two SF1000s for the next hour , over the course of 16 hours, followed by 8 hours of darkness for the veg cycle. The rationale for limiting the operation of these lights to one hour on, interspersed with an hour of cooling down while turned off, is to conserve power and to extend the lifespan of the lights.
Bought these lights in the UK from The LED Grow Shop, which is a first-rate outfit, by the way. Any thoughts that the Spider Farm crew might be willing to share about my setup would be appreciated. Here is a picture of my setup.

I was concerned about the light intensity being inadequate with just two lights on at a time, however, the room does get quite warm as it is, despite there being two windows for cross-ventilation, and a rotating fan that also kicks in for an hour at a time between dawn and dusk.I think 2 sf1000 lights are gonna struggle to provide enough light for a 10 feet long space. I think you're going to have to run all 4 to get enough light, especially for flowering. Let us know how it works out.
Nice idea, wish I was more handy, it would make a nice addition to my music attic.![]()
I've had a few really good no name chinesse led grow lights of decent quality at entry level prices. Bought a white rose 240w quantum board, very nice. Got good results with that one had a bloom switch with uv diodes and had ir too. Aslo had two quantum boards with heavy heatsinks one no name I got on amazon 5 years ago for 32 bucks I think. Quite the deal had samsung diodes uv ir 5000 and 3000k diodes and it was like 120ws. Had another quantum board called chinmoon, a 150w with everything but uv light. Really bright. They upped the price just before I bought and paid like 45 bucks. Had samsung diodes. Had one of those invsincere models with 301bs and was like 110w. Only had one main spectrum being 3500k I think but good light. Always liked to bargin shop and looked for quality components and wasn't disappointed. Overall good quality equiptment. Unfortunatly I lost all the lights described. I guess I got my money out of them but I didn't know the dangers of running them in high temp situations and burned up their diodes. Now have learned my lessons as to their parameters but point made I've owned some quality off brand chinesse lights just put your homework in with them with ai and it should give good reviews advice and accurate stats. I say grow on and I say grow on.dude in all fairness these plants all or most started life under a SF 1000! like i said i think highly of the units but i bought mine when they were a little cheaper and i was still unwilling to back up and take a look at my goals and needs. again i like em i just fail to see any real future in a company with so many players offering the same light in the same configuration etc etc in different colors different names telling me they are different. i think everyone fucking one is made in the same place by the same people and if you order 10 or more you can have your name printed on the light and custom boxing as a kicker back. we could pull our funds and buy THC Farmer branded lights and do our own giveaways.
i'm happy they are finally hear and i hope they stay around as i do everyone and think we or i beat this horse to death... throw up some pics or it didn't happen and light whatever you have on hand up !!! it's some day of the week baby and were alive so fuck it be happy y'all and keep growing as you grow. this is a wonderful place to hang out and educate ourselves on cannabis. which lets face it, that's why we're all here, no.

This is an ongoing experiment, and the coming days will tell me whether the plants thrive or merely survive. In my older grow room, this alternating light idea
I've seen alot of people show quality results using the 1000 sf series lights and think they are a good light/ deal. And for my future light endeavor being a prospect led bar style grow light I belive they have those too with quality components I see people having good results with but are just a little out of by budget right now personallyI've had a few really good no name chinesse led grow lights of decent quality at entry level prices. I'm looking at spider farmer 320 watt lights for 2x4 tent myself all the looking I've done spider farmer comes up as best bang for your buck I'm getting 2 320 4500 bar lights and a 2x4 spider farmer tent just to upgrade my equipment after two years af trial and error I got a great plant last grow from 42 fastbuds and now got eighth brothers blackberry kush .I always had seeds in my buds til now I'll have 2 2x4 setups and a small 2x2 for startsI was however considering one of their 300w bar style lights. There on sell for an affordable price for about 170 bucks on amazon. Someone had wrote they put it in their 4x4 with good results and I was considering to do the same. With the numerous bridgelux diodes and removable driver ai said it was the best option out of several searched for in high heat scenarios. Anyways wanted to say something good about spider farmer and do think they deserve a good evaluation and consideration.
