Of course. It plays a large role here that it's not uncommon having to harvest before "they be ready". Since you ran your population for years and your weather seems to stay like it's still summer all year long I figured you'd have an idea of how much longer they will go on. Not asking for harvest date lol, was just curious how much longer those colas will fatten up.

Not unusual for 100+ temps with Santa Ana (desert type) Winds and wildfires here in October;
good for harvest and no problems with molds and mildews.

All the plants should be harvested within the next 3 weeks or so,
first one in (probably) a few days;
and then it'll be 1, 2, 3, or 4 a day--
as they're ready...

some days there won't be any ready...

Got email from a friend (in a non-medical state),
who'd been here on The Farm and read this thread;
and said his one plant (from one of my seeds) has no skunk odor--
"but lots of buds" Heh...

That "first one in (probably) a few days" above may have been a bit optimistic.

A coupple of chemDcookies,
almost ready--

but they're all takin' their own sweet time...

It's been an interesting horserace trying to pick win, place, and show.

First it was early farmers mix5, moonshine haze3, chemDcookies4;
then: moonshine haze3, chemDcookies3, chemDcookies4;
now: moonshine haze3, chemDcookies4, chemDcookies2,
with some of my inbred plants (that started flowering much later) comming up quick on the inside rail;
however the race ends up,
it looks like Moonshine Haze will be both the Alpha--
and the Omega...

Read through every single page of this thread and loved it. But! I found a triwhorl myself unfortunately too late. It's a Dinafem Shark Attack and noticed that after I've toped my plant. Had I noticed it before I'd grew it all the way. Triwhorl started at fourth node:

A Farmer asked me about cloning--
here's my answer:

I just "learned" how to clone this year.
Sure, I stuck cuttings in the ground up in the mountains 45 years ago,
but I've had no use for 'em in the last three decades here;
I don't do lights, and I needed each available spot for a seed plant.

I bought seeds for the first time in my life this year,
some folks were quite shocked at what I paid for 'em;
so I decided to maximize my investment.

Instead of throwing my prunings under the plants,
(my plants are heavily pruned-for-mainstems)
I stuck 'em in a <red or blue Heh> cup/w hole-in-the-bottom of wet vermiculite;
after dunking the cut stems in rooting gel, and then rooting powder
(I put some pumice in the bottom of the cup for stability).

Cookie trays Heh of the cups went under the table on the back porch,
and were fine-sprayed/misted six or eight times a day;
100% success--
after I got the hang of it...

Been allover that thread too. Some great reading there too.

Dunno bout the cloning. A ain't got a dome yet and I had zero success putting my cuts in those tops filled with soil. Haven't got a hang to it yet.

Hey that's what I do too. It works without the powder but I sort of got in the habit of doing it. The gel slides of the stem while if I put it in gel first then powder next it sticks better and stays on the area I want it to be.

I don't use a dome for my clones anymore, I just put them under low light intensity (like a couple of inches from my T8 18watt lights or in my living room). Prevents them from evaporating too fast, i.e. more than they can suck up without roots.

Awesome pics again Geo, I look forward to seeing that espalier trimmed, looks like it filled up very very nicely.

I keep them under some very low passive lighting and spray them with plain water 5-6 times a day. After cutting I dip them in cloning powder. Like I said zero succes so far. They eventually just die on me. But id love to keep those two alive just to see if they're gonna keep growing that way. I guess I'll never find out :(

Keep it green!
