You've got to accent-uate the positive,
eliminate the negative;
Latch on to the affirmative--
But don't mess with mister inbetween...

Got porch hummingbirds,
to go along with the porch lizards;
that come running up to the back door every time they see me--
to be first-in-line for the mealworms...

I've wondered what relationship the yellow/gold has,
with the white-varigated plants--
if any...

Got some Bubba Crosses this year:
Bubba X Monster Cookies and Bubba Kush X GSC,
gonna get me some of that SSH for next year;
I do have some Silver Bubster F3--
of which SSH is one of the progenitors...

Nice! Bubba crosses are fun imo. There's a lot of different genetics in that one. Most of the Bubba s of mine have been a bit colorful . Structure is a different story. Overall the Bubba stays compact however , I've got some long lanky ones too that finished a bit later with huge compact purplish buds.

The Doctor Jackie twins are girls,
I thought it would be trippy if one was male--
but I don't even know if that's possible...

...also:
I've got 3 or 4 Amnesia Haze X GSC's that have trifoliate leaves, like an OG;
that's something new to me,
I've never grown OG's 'till this year...
...I pulled this bushy runt out of the soil prep pile/nursery/hospital:

Empty Nest Syndrome...

Two days ago the <3-day> older female baby porch hummingbird left the nest,
and didn't return; but hung around close by.

The little younger male left the nest this morning--
he made it as far as the garden 'west-forty' fence...

...mommybird continued feeding...

...and big sister kept him company while he practiced...

...he made it back across the garden to the east side...

...meanwhile his sister was playing helicopter with a trash can--
and was totally exhausted by the time I discovered she was stuck...

...and then he fell off his perch--
and ended up in Doctor Jackie's nest...

...made it back up to a pineapple plant...

...the sun has set and it's gettin' dark;
and this is where he's gonna spend the night--
trying to put him back in the nest might cause more problems...

...

Taking another look this morning;
it might be one of those self-pruning plants <again>--
like to see what the inside that leaf "cup"<looks like> at the very top...

Yep, I don't think anything's gonna pop out of that top;
looks like a "self-pruning" plant--
interested to see if the lateral/secondary stems self-prune too...

Left the nest too early--
he spent the night close to the same spot on a different tomato cage...
