I didn't water-stress 'em quite as much as I did the others--
the iScream Punch is more vigorous that the, ah, vanilla iScream...

Gold/Red Colombian
North Georgia Mountains
1977--
right outta them there "Square Pigs"*...

* Square Pigs = "Square Grouper" bales after Florida got hot,
flowed-'em-up in Goony Birds:
they'd get a bulldozer,
cut a quickie driveway into a remote pulpwood lot,
then clear and grade a crude runway
(they could do that in a day);
them DC-3/C-47's could land in a very short space,
and they'd just leave the planes there.
Those pilots were true heroes,
they ended-up flying in on big storms from the south
(with fuel bladders they could make it all the way)
to avoid the radar--
even riding hurricanes.
A friend of mine and his wife, kid, and pitbull
lived in a small cabin/house he built,
as far up the hill from a small town as he could get,
and still be on the grid(s);
someone was by the phone 24-hours-a-day waiting for a call,
usually prearranged but sometimes an emergency,
and he'd immediately go to the site
just about the time the plane "landed" Heh
and be off like a bat-outta-hell with the pilots,
passing pick-up trucks and vans coming up the road...
...didn't take long for the locals to, ah,
pick-up Heh on what was happenin',
and just like with the mother ships down south,
they could just pull-up and (if there was a loader(s))
their truck would be filled automatically,
or they'd load it themselves;
them hillbilly kids had better herb
than most of the rest of the country--
and I'd bet there's a few bales
still sittin' in some old chickenhouses somewheres...

"Due to decreased yield because of mandatory water restrictions,
for the first time in decades I won't make it thru to next harvest.
I had to break-out a case of "crop failure insurance": vintage 2013;
some of 'em still smell pretty good in the lungs and air,
others leave an undesirous aftersmell in the air, but they work--
especially for arthritic old folks who need that CBN/CBE..."

...I decided to experiment with some fabric pots,
since so many big successful Farmers here use 'em;
(and now I see why...)
couldn't fit a 30 gallon SmartPot into my garden it's packed--
they're at a remote location...

They sure are... huge difference already with the updates at the top of this page 9 weeks ago. Excellent job again on the cropping and leveling of that sea of green.
