But what IS hydrofungicide? I don't like using shit when I don't know what it basically is and how it works....and I don't want to kill my bennies!

DM is good, cheap, and easy....also tested real low in heavy metals, unlike AN, FF, or GH. But I figured there would be inconsistencies, and when you told me about the bad batches of Zone, I changed my mind about a test run with DM.

I'm loving the H&G so far, and I prefer to grow with a biologically preserved res, versus a dead/sterile one. But you need a chiller with that shit, IMO! You can easily get away without a chiller doing a sterile res.

I'm doing damn good so far with H&G base nutes and bloombastic, gonna do a run with the full H&G line soon, then gonna give Canna nutes a spin in the systems! I like that Canna is a 4-part (Veg A/B, Flower A/B) versus H&G A/B for the whole cycle, its more customizable to each strain. But I'm not giving up my Root Excelurator, you will have to pry that aluminum bottle out of my cold dead fingers! I'm leaning more towards JACKMAYOFFER's recipe, minus the AN additives (prolly gonna stick with Bud XL, Top Booster, & Shooting Powder).

And imid is the ticket to killing those nasty root aphids. It is readily available at Homer DePot with a Bayer Complete label on it...

During veg, empty res, fill with clean water, add Bayer Complete at 1/2 recommended strength, run for 24 hours, empty, refill, flush, empty, refill, and run clean water for another 24 hours, then go back to regular nute schedule...root aphids will be a thing of the past!

What a great thread!! I couldn't put it down.. I read it all the way through... Incredible room and grow. I am running one of your same systems and adding another after this grow. I have learned a lot first hand on this grow but I must say that this thread was very useful! Thank you for taking your time to share your experience and your GREAT pictures! Looking forward to the final outcome and your next grow. I'm sorry but I have to ask... Are you gonna run a chiller on the next run and if so have you found one you like. I have one but I am not satisfied with it and will be replacing after this run. Thanks again.

Whaddup GM and Steppa... Not trying to bring up old news, but I would appreciate the education from experienced growers as yourselves, as I want to kill off the root aphids I've been battling for quite a long time. I've got a Bayer Tree and Shrub (protect and feed) which I've read several threads regarding the dosing instructions. From what I understand it's best to use only once in veg at roughly 3 ml/gal in RO, as a root drench. I have not used it yet, but would be willing to right before I put my plants into my UC to continue vegging until the flip. Currently the plants are vegging on an ebb n' flow table and I'd drench them there and then transplant to my UC netpots. Any thoughts on this? :wondering

Honestly bro, this has been the one little bugger that has been giving me problems since I pulled a rook move and brought some outdoor youngins inside to finish up and have had constant problems since, won't be doin that again, I jus took cuts of all my mom's and will be trashin everything, I am certain that the oceanforest I have been using was full of larvae, initially I thought they were fungus gnats, could see the larvae within minutes of water'n fresh soil, no bug problems although with the "Shady Mix", found an organic insectisidale soap at lowes that comes in a purple bottle that works as a contact spray, will post a pic later, have been seeing major death of them and more plant vigor as well, Peace SSP

Outstanding info bro, have been seeing amazing results or aphid death from predator nematode drench's with a Hot Shots No Pest Strip laying on the floor of tray or connected to one of the buckets

Thx for the info fellas... The Bayer Protect and Feed's main ingredient is Imidacloprid and it actually says it's the chemical name for Merit. Looking forward to the harvest shots and cured nugs in a month Steppa! On another note, I don't envy you during the trimming work as I have to force myself to harvest each round in my small garden... :itwasntme

Fake ass chem thats shit has been around forever! Fake as fuck. Which makes me think your "pimpslap" OG cross is fake too. Multiple people on this board know pimpslap very well and sometime they are going weigh in and put a stop to this nonsense. I have never grown it myself just calling you out because you have nothing to do with the real homies.
