1st off killer grow man I've read the entire thread, very impressed.
I just spent about 6 hours changing out the res in my mpb room so after that and then reading the post on how you mix your nutes I just have to comment. :) It's obviously working for you and that's great but I'd be pulling hair by the end of 7 hours! It took me about an hour to mix 8 components in my 300 gal temp res and I took my sweet time doing it in between other res work. The 300 gal res cost me $80 bucks and I'm heading back for another this week. It's a syrup tote with a metal cage around it, great thing is they never see syrup as it's in a bladder that's removed.
My morning started at 7am (way earlier than usual)
Started draining live res with pump, takes a bit.
hooked up stir pump and air stone in temp res, added
calmag
couple puffs
wiped down live res waiting for draining to finish
Added Micro
Wetvac'd the live res dry
cleaned up and added Bloom
Filled live res with well water
Realized my well water is freaking 55* and not touching my roots any time soon, doh!
Ran to town for aquarium heater and extra bacon on my BE&C from McD's
Left the crappy Casa DePot pump running in the well water while in town got to 57*
Hooked up aquarium heater, added ph down
puff puff pass
Waited for ever for 63* and couldn't wait any longer
Realized I'm out of PH down another wasted 45minutes running to town, doh, doh!
Added gonats to well water and ph'd
Ran that for about 30 minutes and hit the top feed 4 times, die nats fucking die!
couple bong rips to change it up
Drained live res for second time
Somewhere in there I added the rest of my wallet to the res and finally finished 45 minutes after lights on, way late as usual. I was already flipping out by the end of this, I am really starting to hate working with water and will have this all completely automated someday soon.
Sorry for dragging on and wasting a lot of space in your thread but I just have to say I can't imagine a nute company recommending adding nutes to your plants the way you are.
Anyway, thanks for the awesome grow thread and keep up the great work!
