Hydroton is actually the way to go. None of what makes Hydroton annoying really applies to small grows.

It works just fine but I don't think the plants are awesome because of it. Adding in silica to the nute solution is the better option, IMO.

Im sticking with the stuff. It holds em a little more stable and my stems are strong as shit.
I just like the idea of one less thing to add to the rez.
