Yes it is from here, the seeds were brought out from the PNW a loong time ago, I think the seeds were originally popped in the mid eighties.

Did I see you at the Greenest Green last night by chance? If that's your spot I'll bring some for you to try.

I'll need some help adding to this, but here are some that I know of

Golden Goat
Cough
Chemdawg
Cabbage
Melon
Love
Pepe le Pew (my personal addition :) )
Poster Child
Peonia Purple pine berry

If you know any more PLEASE post it up here!

Cough originated from a few ladies who went to CSU in Ft. Collins a few years back. It is a select phenotype of NL#5 X Haze. Ladies, thank you.

Cabbage is a very stinky, high yielding, fast flowering indica that has leaves so big it resembles cabbage while it's growing. I'm not 100% it originated in CO, but I've never heard of it elsewhere and I haven't seen it around so it might be extinct (someone PLEASE prove me wrong and tell me it's still around).

The melon and the love originate from the gunnison area, the melon being a moderate indica remeniscent of honeydew and the love being a fast sativa dominant hybrid.

The pepe le pew is from Denver, It's lineage is 25% afghani, 25% red columbian, and 50% 3 way of thai, cambodian, burmese. 12 week flower, moderate to low yielder. Speedy, focused, and thought provoking buzz. "It's the cocaine of weed!" said one smoker. Smell remeniscent of slightly musky floral perfume. Sweet taste like honey blossoms and hibiscus tea. Pink and purple hues develop as well. Good scrog strain.

The cabbage is definitely still around! I had no ideas about its lineage or anything, and snagged some at a dispensary in Boulder....they have it regularly on their menu, it's pretty stinky and definitely smokes nicely.

WTf!!!!!!!!!!!!! i NEED A CLONE! that shit is legendary. What dispensary did it come from? I've got to try it, I've just heard about it.

Yo, whats up peoples, I see some familiar names on here from ic...I haven't really been active here sooooo....I got some Cough cuts recently. I am also very interested in some of the Centennial seeds. I am also in unincorporated Boulder County and would love to support a local seed company thats right up my block!!!

Also, anyone mention Tangerine Haze and Grape Haze? I believe these are local cuts...and I literally just saw some buds of The Wheelchair Crippler over at the Green Room in Boulder, not sure if they have a cut.

Hey Mopho.....is all of Boulder county gonna require "green" electric usage by MedGrowers or is that just city limits? What if I lived in Longmount for instance?

Unincorporated Boulder county did not pass the regulation for "green" electric usage, that is only Boulder city limits. Unincorporated Boulder County does not count incorporated municipalities, which can have their own separate regulations.

What if I lived in Longmount for instance?

What if...? Wink, wink...
:tongueout

Nice to know......:passingjoint:

I had this crazy image of windmills on top of houses decorating the hill.lol
Killer weed has always been in Boulder...wish I could remember what strain the Leftover crew always had. That was killer smoke! Most of the strains I got ahold of in Boulder circa 94-96 were all superduper strains, but hardly did we mention strain names. I see Mota's got a Mikado crossed to "RockyMountain GreenBud" I wonder what that was?....probably some more no-name killer.lol

Top Shelf Alternatives in Boulder, they have decent prices on just about anything, and the quality ranges from ultra potent beasters ($10 a gram) to pretty good quality headsmoke ($15 a g If i remember right??). I haven't been there in a few months, but that's what I remember. The Colorado Cabbage is reviewed on the website in my sig as well, you can search for it on the right side. I definitely think it's worth looking up, it was a favorite between myself and a few buddies for a while.

I'm currently attempting to find a caregiver in CO (long story about the last one I had, luckily no personal drama or anything though) , I don't really feel comfortable signing anything with a dispensary for a measly free quarter oz a month...when someone is allowed 6 plants for me, I'd like them to hook it up a little more than a quarter a month though--or am i just being selfish? i'd want quality more than quantity though...a quarter of A+++++ ganja a month isn't so bad i suppose? I dunno, you guys grow it so I guess you tell me...anyways i'll stop rambling about dispensaries and their caregiving.

hopefully i can finally grow my own, and stop drooling over all the beautiful grows here! or maybe a little bit of both :rauch08:

Edit:

Also, yeah I smoked the Tangerine as well. Not sure if it's local to CO, but it's definitely quality bud. Looks/smells like it could be a Sour D hybrid of some kind; it's like if you replace the lemon with Tangerine and reduce the fuely funk a bit..but it's still hangin in there at the back...hits like Sour D but with a pillow in front of it, nonetheless very potent..anyhoo, it'll be the next strain reviewed on the site in my sig coincidentally :D

PM CropReport, he's on pg 7 of the thread and that's his company. The Roughneck looks killer IMO, that's one I would like to try out.

COcannabis, thanks for the heads up on the cabbage!

Grape Haze? I believe these are local cuts...and I literally just saw some buds of The Wheelchair Crippler over at the Green Room in Boulder, not sure if they have a cut.

There's grape haze going around down here in the Springs. Maybe some Farmers running a cut of that as well... :)

PM SkyHigh about that 'chair... He ran it for years, and will know if it's the cut. I'd absolutely love to have the 'chair that was going around about 8 years ago in the Springs...

Has anyone seen the golden goat clone around. I love this strain and would like to find her.

Thanks

Grapefruit x Haze is all over the 4 corners. There will be cuts, buds and seeds here before summers over. Can't believe its been 6 years since I last brought this one out to play.

I already have a ssh that is pure grapefruit but the goat puts it down.

I found some GG clones and they appear to be healthy, rooted, and clean.

Sorry you feel that way man. Mr Dank himself said he passed the cut with instructions to share it freely.

This cut helps with depression and back pain and is a great day time smoke.

CBF I have been following your post for years on ICmag and respect you and am a little confused why you seem so upset but I am very grateful to have the goat.

Maybe this is the wrong forum for posting where strains can be located. I am not associated with any dispensary or vendor I was just trying to help others.

No good herb should be hoarded and only held by a select few.

I would like to thank Mr Dank for creating this wonderful strain.

Damn start buying sack of that shit SH and look for a random bean. Legends are born that way my friends... lol.

Been looking for the Skelly for a hot minute with absolutely no beat on it....

The goat is one of those strains that newbies can grow decent, but it takes a pro to bring it to full potential. It's an ISS cross, and judging from the smell I'm pretty sure where the ISS clone came from. Was the GG around before '04? First time I had heard of it was about 3-4 years ago.

well i know Mr dank very well, we been friends for sometime. yeah share it freely with other growers, not give it to a club.

Mr dank said it himself, he wouldnt give nothin to a club, plain and simple. why you may ask, cause there just gonna whore the bitch till the plant means nothin.

i passed a Strawberry Creme around(not the best you will ever smoke) first breeder/friend i give it to online, wants to cross it out before he even smokes it?????

i have no problems gettin cuts around to other growers, i believe in sharin, to those that have some respect for the plant, lookin to enjoy a good toke, not make money on it as soon as they get it.

i have cuts from my own seedlines, ive spent 10 plus years workin on various seedlines. you think im gonna send a cut to someone i dont know to piss away, after all the time i spent on um. not hardley.

when someone asks me for one of my own cuts, my stomach gets all notted up like they asked to bone my wife. thats how much i care about my own lines and plants.

ya may not understand that thinkin, but ive been around long enough to see how shit goes down, ive made lots of friends here online, and those are the guys i trade and swap with.

im not hoardin, any cut out there that gets traded freely im happy to send to others, im no damn millionaire, and cant help everyone online. also i like to think about my safety, and after schmoes ordeal, i dont trust to many unknown online peeps anymore.

I understand your frustration with the dispensaries. My plan is to never have to return as my strain collection is now complete.

I am a fully compliant med patient and only grow my six plants for my head only. I can now grow my own smoke that is actually finished and flushed properly without fear of smoking pm, or some random pesticides.

Hope you have a good holiday. Going to start the day off right with some Chemdog #4.

Peace
