When I use a heat matt I put a temp probe under a pot, without a controller they get too hot for seeds in a small amount of coco.

That plant looks fine...maybe a little calcium issue because of the kink in leaf but you're making a fuss for nothing imo.

Yes, germination and clones only with the heat mats and only if you really need it in like a basement setting.

Im wondering if the lights been to strong had it about 50cm and at 50% as struggling to get it Lower to the plant says 30cm on the website and 25%

Any advice be greatly appreciated

You feed it ?
Thereā€™s no need to ph your medium
The soil will buffer the ph just use straight up water from the tap.

What did you add food wise ?
Itā€™s to early to be feeding it can stunt the growth feeding so early

Throws me off tending to the outside garden with outside temps in the low 50's and then sticking my cold hands in the clone box it feels like they're getting roasted but temp is really only 76 degrees. The cheap priced Vivosun mat I bought doesn't have temp controls and at 80 degrees the rockwool cubes were evaporating before the end of the day. I lost a bunch of monster clippings before turning it down. Since there was no thermostat I put some Jenga blocks on the mat and laid the clone box on them so there's about 1/2" clearance. Got the idea here from a fellow grower who mentioned they use bottle caps to get a little distance.

I didnt feed it just ph,d the water as says between 6 and 7 my water is a bit high thats all

Right on
99% of the time organics ph doesn't matter

Using Synthetics, ph is as important what and how much you feed

Hi guys little update after doing everything plant seems happier only thing Iā€™m thinking is do I have to raise this light a bit as the nodes between leaves donā€™t look as big as what I remember the last plant being

They are OK for germinating, but I'd never run seedlings on them unless the room temp was in the low 60's. I wouldn't take a chance of destroying the enzymes the plant is making. Plant proteins are temperature sensitive & operate most effectively at about 68-84. If anything, set the pots on a thick towel or something to insulate them from the cold floor.

There still on them at the minute as the temps are still cold here! even with a oil radiator in there struggling Iā€™ve got them set to 74f so clicks on and off if gets to hot for them but rarely gets that high sits at about 72f with the probe in the soil

They are great for taking and making clones as well as germinating seeds. We'll worth the investment if you are in a cold zone.

I prepared seeds at the weekend and used the prop to heat the coco overnight while the seeds were soaking, in the morning the temperature at the bottom of the pouches was 36.6cā°
I plugged the prop into a controller and set it to 25/26c.

I'm waiting for 1 to show its only been 48hrs there's plenty of time yet.
