Ok here goes.. 1st journal .. will try keep you as updated as possible ..
This is basically a continuous grow I could say.. Every few weeks will throw down new beans and start my winter Greenhouse run. Greenhouse 4m x 8m
Most of the strains I will be running are home mades and I'm starting off with 10 SSH x Cataract Kush and still to come some Chessedawg crosses, Cheesus, Burmese Kush x Sensi Star, (Burmese x Sensi Star) × Cataract Kush, (Burmese x Sensi Star x Cheesdawg) x Cataract Kush, (Cheesedawg x Kushberry) x Cataract Kush, (Cheesedawg x 8Ball Kush x Kushberry) × Cataract Kush , NYC Diesel x Cataract Kush, 5 TGA Locomotion and 5 Cuvee.
Clones coming -
BlackBerry OG, Green Crack, Critical Jack, GSC and Blue Cheese

Im just finishing off an outdoor run in a super soil mix I'm trying and have used zero bottle nutrients all season. I will be building more of that soil starting this week. I just got a whole heap of comoosted horse and chicken manure and will begin to make various composts with it as well as add it my super soil.

Seedling mix is just coir and WC 50/50

Super soil mix
This mix is according to a 5kg coir block hydrated out to 60L
5kg coir block / coco Pete
30L Leca (small and large balls)
30L WC
10L composted Horse/Chicken manure
10L mushroom compost
10L ground Alpaca poop (zero burn)
2kg bone meal
2kg kelp meal (if available) or in water in about 5L of Kelpak into it.
2kg Bio Ocean << good shit
10 fish heads
1kg gypsum
500g Epsom salt
1bag of red wrigglers

Gypsum

Composted and sifted horse and chicken manure
Added extras are dirt cheap seedling mix I get for 3 bucks ($.25c) a bag which I throw in. Also throwing in this European universal potting soil. Just for shits and giggles. I can warn my south AFRICA friends.. go easy on cultera potting mi... even the professional one ..they are shit. The new seedling mix is ok-ish but just as an adder cos it's dirt cheap if you buy the broken bags.
Back to the soil lol...
Will be covered in tarp and turned every few days for the next month. It's this time during our southern hemisphere winter that my soil for summer is started too. Basically I just keep making new soil and adding new stuff like worms etc.

Feed
All plants will only ever get AACT and sprout teas.
All organic! No bottle nutes!
The only thing from a bottle I use is kelp and raw aloe juice and molasses.
I make 3 different composts for the stages of growth. I have what I call "The Green" The Orange" and the mix pile. The Green is all my basic green veg plus lucern grass. So all the beans, carrot tops, SPINACH, etc goes into the green pile. The Green pile is the VEG stage pile. Higher in nitrogen especially adding lucern or alfalfa what that call it abroard. A warning on the lucern/alfalfa is go easy. . It can burn.
Orange pile is all that it says hehe .. pumpkin, pumpkin skin, butternut and skin, banana!! Carrots papaya melon, tomoato, mango as well as flower buds and petals etc.. great for FLOWER .. and well a mix is just that.. basic compost mix of everything.
These will composts will be fed in the teas.

Oops forgot this pic

Just potted up another 15 ... deciding what to put down. All the cataract crosses are test runs of 6 reg DNA of which only 2 popped, both were males. I kept the pollen and pollinated all the plants in the garden from this year's summer grow. .. decisions decisions lol

Thanks Chris. Cool thing is it will just get better .. by the time this round of seedlings is ready for big pots the soil will be good. By our spring time it will be balls to the wall goodness!
I'm definitely looking fwd to the SSH x Cataract .. My Haze is iffy if I could say that.. never really gives me massive yields . Rather thinner dense spears that stiiiink! ! The cataract cross i grew this year had a weird kinda slight chocolate smell and besides that nothing else..But the bus were massive and dense. I've read the DNA Cataract does that.. no smell? Well Im hoping the cross bulks out the haze and the haze stinks up the Cataract..

Let it cook let it cook.. getting all the soil prepped for beds. One more girl to come out and then the area will be cleared for the new greenhouse.
Couple of the seeds popped. Using my tent frames to dry the summer cut .. Soon as they dried the seedlings will go into the tent to veg. For now they are on the porch enjoying the autumn day and go under a cfl till 00:00

Nice, I'm cooking some super soil myself. Wish I could have different compost piles like u but I don't have the space, yet. I'll be watching this grow

Thanks man. Yeah the space helps
.. But you can also do a variety by stacking up a couple of totes. Get a base going then divide it into say 4 totes and start adding your goodies from there. I'm still experimenting with separate variety composting and super soils but enjoying it all the way. As soon as this new batch has cooked down in want to take the differnt mixes in to be tested. Will keep the updates coming!

1st row of beds made up .. nother 3 rows to go.. Once completed will give them a wash and disinfect them then line the insides of the bed with a ground cover and they'll be ready for the soil. Each bed will house 6 plants after a 2 week veg

Looking good over there nice and sunny. U might want to space those out in the middle some more. Probably won't be able to walk through them before flower

Also I'd move them into that really sunny area if possible. More sun the better. Gets to 112° F where I am. My plants don't even flinch in the sun just keep that soil moist

Yeah that's just where they were put after we built them. They will be going up into a light dep greenhouse for winter. Our winter days stay sunny and clear with no rain. But the night we get cold because we are so high up. I've done a full outdoor run in winter before and was yeah.. small hehe. These plants all going 18 in tent then out into greenhouse to flower.

New additions collected today for my soil mix. 100kg Llama poop semi composted. This stuff is awesome! Zero burn and breaks down beautifully. Will be keeping some back for fermentation and a large chunk got chucked into the worm farm.

Finally got my kelp! It's not easy to find around here and pretty much spent weeks looking for it. 20kg and will mix in 2 cups per 100L of soil.

Most of the seeds have popped .. of 25 waiting on 3. Soon as my phones charged will get some.snaps of them.

Ok been a while .. things slowly keeping on.. 23/25 seeds popped and new additions LSD, GSC (Cali Con Fortune cookies) #1 and 3 - more indica pheno and BF Blue Cheese.

Got the tent 2.4m x 1.2 .. testing new lights and giving the tent a clean.all clones and seedlings going into tent to veg.

Sifted horse manure top layered over the worm farm and got lucerne over it now to keep em warm at night.

Teas brewing and the fish, banana, papaya and lucern are fermenting.

Hope all you farmers are growing well and staying healthy.
One love
